This place used to be a great little rock band venue in the eighties.
Its now a Tesco.

I live by the Ellsmere arms,last owners came from Cheshire where they had a pub,Macclesfied,I think.I was told they had to leave the pub in Cheshire because a dead body was found in the toilets which had been there for two days,natural causes I was told.Don,t know how true the story is,but best thing thats happened when it was knocked down,a right den of thieves if you ask me
