Is Brenda Grocott the landlady?
Interesting I wonder if I'm related to her - my paternal nan's maiden name was Grocott.

nice one me and my mate where talking about this pub last night seems we gonna go there friday.
In the town over the August Bank Holiday weekend and went up Grange Rd on the Saturday. Couldn't resist going into the Snug for a pint. Quiet but excellent. If you are up that way just drop in for the one and ensure it stays open.

I put a television aerial up for the Snug, but had to put it on the Coop roof. Nice Coop manager let us.
I believe it was the bar for the Garrick theatre which was in Grange Rd.
