The Cleveland was originally built as a house on the corner of Hamilton Lane and Cleveland Street in 1943 and was the end terrace of a U shaped block that went along Clevland Street, down Chapel Street and along back to Hamilton Lane. Chapel Street no longer exist but would be roughly where the Doctors surgery is.

I saw the Cleveland today for the first time in ages and it's surrounded by scaffolding. One of the workmen said it's being converted into flats and offices.
