In the 70's this was run by the Melvilles ....my Mum would baby-sit for them and at one point in later times she worked as a bar-maid ....eventually running it as a manager

I worked there when I was 18. Shame it had to close. My dad's local for over 30 years.

This is being demolished.
fencing is up and its gone at the back end.
