Does anyone agree that we need to be more loving to each other ?? ...especially in these ever more stressful times !! Or am I just a sad lonely poor man ?? Couldn't find a dating / find a friend with benefits section !!! Fascinates me as it's one of the few things in life that are free .. but seems to be thin on the ground these days !!
People are awful to each other. The more time I spend around humans the more I love my animals.
Well if we all had more love for each other, just imagine how different our world would be.
If we all loved our neighbour as we should, we wouldn't have any enemies, but we don't do that and neither do they.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+131 Corinthians Ch13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Makes a lot of sense if you read it, and yes granny's at it again and probably one of the worst offenders in certain areas.
Must try harder.
I tend to spend 99 percent of my time alone ...and at the age of 41 I find myself asking the question why? Every day on the news there is another disgusting story of a "bad man does bad thing" That psycho from Wales most recently ... feels like everyone is scared or weary of each other for different reasons or has experienced betrayals or disappointments in their past which leads to a lack of trust towards each other ,genuine affection , love or just good old nookie !!! Which I miss so much ...
No I don't have a job,any money or a car and have no wish to bring new life into this ever cruel world ... Which shouldn't be any kind of factor on weather or not I experience happiness in the company of another !!!
Just saddens me and I don't go on dating sites , speed date or drink in pubs etc as they are dull as dishwater and have no friends ,female or male or inbetween lol !!!
I have made a lot of friends on here through attending walks, pub meets etc
My daughter met her partner of four years on a wiki outing to Butterfly Park in New Ferry.
keep an eye out for Events....
Suggestion: You try to involve yourself with something that is not challenging, before you become too isolated. There are some very lovely caring people but finding them is not always so easy. Can you do voluntary work ? If you need to share the love inside, what better way than directing it firstly towards animals. We can all feel a sense of love and protection for our dumb friends. Volunteer for e.g the RSPCA, they need people and you would be mixing with compassionate people at the same time.
Just a thought
A Library is a good place to meet people too.
I am the same catlover. Spend time at work and at uni, the friends I have made over the years are only interested when the going is good. Rather spend time with animals who appreciate my devotion to them.
Thank you all for your comments and suggestions , I appreciate your honesty .. Have kind of lost my way in life due to illness brought about by uncaring managers and work colleagues over the past few years when I was trying to recover from a painful relationship breakup ,loneliness and family problems.. leading to me having no choice but to leave my job , got put on ESA benefits (on the sick) as my nerves and mind got frayed and depressed .. ATOS overturned my Doctor's medical opinions ... now have had no money for a few months while I wait for the powers that be to pass me around from pillar to post :o(
Thanks again
At least you have money to come on line, and stay with friends. I pay mine monthly in case I snuff it
I have no friends to stay with ..not sure what you were getting at there.. and I don't pay the broadband bill but again not sure what you're getting at but I'm sure it matters not :o/
Thanks for the concern

Shall I buy a new hat?
I think Zipper was referring to your friends on Wikkiwirral.
A Library is a good place to meet people too.
Shush!!!! Lol!
Hi Gary.. been in a similar place 35 years ago despite having job car loving parental family etc. My help and "salvation" came through reading the book of Psalms in the bible where I read of people struggling through different circumstances that hit them in life-- and for me it was really part of Psalm 40 that helped and became a reality in my life..
Psalm 40 King James Version (KJV)
40 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
Have a mooch around charity shops for an old gideons bible it has a help section in it that points to specific words of wisdom.
ps you might even find one in the Library
You guys are funny :o) Hope all have had a peaceful weekend and thanks again for your views on me feeling a bit down in the dumps !!!
I'm a single mum with a 4 year old and a full time job. By the time I finish work & collect my lad from school it's 5.30...then get him home, do his tea & get him to bed and then I'm stuck in on my own.
Flippin' Heck ... Being a Mum is a fulltime job in its self !!
The internet does provide some kind of company I guess but that feeling of loneliness is a painful one, even though you have unconditional love with your Son , my heart goes out to any of the single Mum's out there! x
Hopefully you'll have a Xmas get together at work and may get a xmas kiss / or a decent guy might sweep you off your feet when you're commuting or shopping etc !!
As for me ...I've got a cat , no job ,no money , no car ..So barely worth me thinking about dating or such like but being single is horrible
thanks for commenting
Rarely .. Like twice this year !! And as the kind people at ATOS and DWP have stopped my ESA benefits ...I've had zero pence for over 2 months so even if I liked booze .. no pennies no booze or anything except abject misery for the foreseeable future sadly :o( Which isn't the best chat up line lol
garycatlover
cathie ??
Definitely will buy a hat.
Why don't we have a singles night at a pub for all the Wiki people who would like to meet someone to make friends with?
For those who feel they wouldn't like to get too involved, they could go incognito without saying their Wiki usernames when meeting up, so no embarrassment if they didn't 'take' to each other.
This might be the answer for Gary and others in the same boat who don't know how to get started.
What are you like ?? haha Why does She like the naive overly honest pauper type of "man" lol ??

Everyone loves a good sob story Gary so good luck . A wiki singles night ? Now there's a thought
That was kind of what my post was originally about .. There not being a lonely hearts section and totally agree that sob stories are nice in a way , a problem shared is a problem halved and all of that , brings out the compassionate side of people sometimes!

2 months!
Can they even do that?
I've not been on there for about 8 years but I seem to remember them giving some type of loan out to "tide you by" whilst they sort your claim.
You should look into it, 2 months with no money is ridiculous.
Ste it 'seems' to be common , i know someone it HAS happened to very recently..
It's been at least 8 weeks ... may have been more and I've been told that there is no other option but to wait and wait and wait , I'm currently seeing Advocacy in Wirral regarding my claim and basically will have to wait possibly another 4 weeks without money whilst I await another "limited capabilty for work assessment" by the controversial French private company ATOS (who've paid the DWP 68million to cancel their contract early to be replaced by American company Maximus),or wait for result of a "mandatory reconsideration" ... Which is infuriating to say the least and definitely makes my anxiety and depression worsen by the day ... and sadly the system when a person is ill just doesn't care ... preferring to bamboozle with jargon and force people to justify their Doctor's opinion and their illness !!
Disgracefil. Thought we were supposed to be a civilised society?!
Profits for the private giant companies seem to be more important sadly than the detriment of peoples health and lives !!!

He's telling lies, it was the other way around.
Wow Granny ! You mean he done it from behind ?
Gary, there are many free dating and introduction sites, have a look around them and maybe you could build up friends/dates up.
It is no good rotting at home, were is that by the way.
remember its about love, not war.
Ok so where and when is the singles night? Before or after my breakfast with the firemen next week?
We could all meet in Sargent peppers lonely hearts club

gary.....
Dilly are you......
No not me Sunny
This is what dilly is waiting for
Hi Gary, just thought I'd let you know that I was in a similar situation to you regarding ESA earlier this year.I had my money stopped for 10 weeks until they reached the decision that I wasn't depressed enough not to look for work.I went to see an advisor at the Wirral Benefits agency, now moved to where the Big Cod used to be in Liscard, and he told me to appeal which I did,and as soon as the Court received confirmation of my appeal I had all my money back dated which by that time was a considerable amount, but while it went to appeal I was able to make a new claim for ESA and get paid for the time it took to get to court. I lost the appeal and am now working part time but at least I got my money back.I would advise you to go and see this very helpful man called Dave. Good Luck and keep your chin up and although you might not think so now, nothing is as bad as it seems.Maybe having that Pub get together for all us lonelies on here mightn't be such a bad idea? I wish you well.
Thank you all so so much for your kind suggestions and cool comments ... I'm overwhelmed by it ...
I'm getting help from AdvocacyInWirral regarding my ATOS/ESA appeal or 2nd medical assessment / appeal and to be honest AdvocacyInWirral have all of my paperwork as I can't make head or tail of the contradictions on the part of ATOS/DWP (crooks imo)
My counsellor has spoke to me today regarding a befriending service that may help to stop the rot regarding my loneliness and despair .. Just have to play the waiting game in this ridiculous situation !!! All to the detriment of my ever decreasing mental, physical and financial health
Thanks again xx
We could all meet in Sargent peppers lonely hearts club
That was 20 years ago today Dilly!

Indeed it was Snowshoes
I am on that site .... but only because I don't know how to delete my profile ... I'm stuck financially so dating is a distant memory sadly ... But thanks for the suggestion !! I live in NewBrighton btw
Ha ha Gary.....noting how you are now tuning into Wiki early morning. Maybe you had just awoken and therefore, I now believe you have got hooked !!!!!
My sleep pattern is silly these days ... and yes I am addicted ,still hoping there is a rich woman who takes pity on me or reads my posts and wants to sweep me off my feet .. as I'm all poorly and miss cuddles and stuff ( just had a heart monitor fitted that I have to wear for 7 days and my Dr has rung me and have to go in to discuss my blood test results ) woe is me !!!! All with a broken heart and no money !!! Bah :o)
Sounds like you're having too much excitement on here !
This is the perfect job for you....just imagine, all that glamour and glitz. Purely professional of course, but who knows what could happen ?
You got to be in it to win it mate.
http://www.meandmrsjonesdating.co.uk/ Go Gary !(oh, on application forget the 'cat lover'....might put them off a wee bit.)
Forget the cat lover ? But Granny everyone loves a pussy
Forget the cat lover ? But Granny everyone loves a pussy
Maybe so, and he could maybe end up here. Could be 'Pussy Galore' and no woman likes competition. You should know that Dilly

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-30314742.html
The first one is very much like my home, well my dream home maybe
Granny and Dilly,Zipper loves his pussy so much he is going to get it stuffed.
All pussies should be stuffed Snowy
Wouldn't be able to be a male escort .... they got rid of the half penny pieces a little while ago haha and I don't agree any money should be a factor in dates for either gender as love or lust should be free of any financial exchanges ... and as for the houses ... very swish indeed !!
Thanks for the comments , definitely think I'm going to just stay lonely and poor for the foreseeable future if not forever as I'm just not suitable for anything really as my mental energy is running on fumes these days !!
Don't give up Gary, I met someone really special on here.
Nice one Dilly .. my hands are tied and not in a good way :o) lol
Come on Gary not all women will do a swerve on blokes with no money . Money doesnt come into it with lots of them , having a loving faithful bod with the all important sense of humour is FAR FAR higher on the list! Theyre there! But you need to get out, to meet them -and your mental energy will return when you do! Cheap 'outs' , dates dont have to be expensive, and and 'meeting' and chatting up, doesnt always have to be a 'date'- you just have to be self assured and create opportunities.Youve got a humorous personality kiddo, a great asset to get going with - just dig out your confidence from that big hole youve dropped it in -it doesnt belong there.
ps Dont mean to sound patronizing either, its just how I see it (and I can understand acute depression having been best friends with St Cath and her ECT packages, many many moons ago in my youth.)
Aww Thanks Venice .. Literally wish I hadn't posted my original post , but I have to say I wasn't implying that ladies love money ... Just that money shouldn't be a factor ..me personally I can't stand money ... if i had a million quid, I'd want 2 etc etc ... it's like trying to quench a thirst by drinking saltwater in my opinion !!
And as for confidence .... that's totally shattered beyond words as is my will to get out of bed for more than an hour !! Sad as I'm a decent bloke who's just been messed with way too many times to be able to recover !!!
Thanks for your kind words x
hello gary
I always identified with Eeyore as a child lol !!! Ta Sue x
waiting for gary
Bless you .. Sure there'll come a time when zero confidence ,broke and sleepyholic honest men are hot property that women crave hahaha .... until then I'm single and celibate and hating every second of it lol !!
Gary, I'm a fine one to talk and in no position to give advice to anyone, but you really will have to push yourself and make the effort and get yourself out and about.
You won't meet anyone sitting indoors. There's plenty of places you can go for free, libraries, museums, art galleries etc all good places to meet people and keep the old brain cells working.
Even just sitting in a cafe with a cup of tea, read your paper and make an effort to say hello to passers by and always remember to smile
Wake up with a new determination and get yourself out there
Good Luck and let us know how you get on x
Thats good sound advice sneezy.
at least you have your furry friend gary.
Bless you .. Sure there'll come a time when zero confidence ,broke and sleepyholic honest men are hot property that women crave hahaha .... until then I'm single and celibate and hating every second of it lol !!
Well Gary, I'm coming over to give you a good smack bottom if you don't pull your socks up...... and a smack botty from granny, is something that most men can't handle.

#patronising in my opinion. Just my opinion and i will say no more
Lighten up Rude...Gary was the one who wants love not war ! Try not to create one please.
Lighten up Rude...Gary was the one who wants love not war ! Try not to create one please.
Point taken Granny. Stand by my view though.
(Did not intend to start a war btw- I just know that comments like 'pull your socks up' 'get a grip' etc can be very damaging to those with m.h issues)
Point taken Rude, but Gary does have a sense of humour, which unlike others with MH, he is happy to share with us. So he should be encouraged. Just my opinion
Not talking behind your back Gary, I know that would be worse for you or anyone.

I agree with you there Granny. #NoStigma
I'm sorry for causing any friction between you ladies .... I appreciate the comments and suggestions , but truly I'm fairly thick skinned and can take any comments that get posted !! Believe me I have exhausted my brain with ideas as to what to do for the best regarding my sad situation that is my life !!
I'm 41 and genuinely nothing that has been suggested over the years enthuses me ..think my brain has just gone kaput and my body is following suit for the want of a better phrase !
Thanks for caring enough to comment by the way ... and no I'm not suicidal or anything like that just incase you wondered !!
Just been messed with too many times and have become poor lonely and sad as I posted earlier !! Will hope things get better xx

Great news Egg, it was a bit over the top. The very best of luck with your new venture.see you there .
I liked Tallulahs to begin with but over the years it just looked tatty and dirty. Looking forward to The Corner. Good Luck.
