10 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Woman

Is this just street banter ? Or are the comments Harassment ?

My Thoughts
Personally Individually Compliments, Collectively Not Nice.
A Few freaky and weird people but no more than on a normal day.

Some of it banter and some quite creepy harassment.

It doesn't matter how many in a day . One creep harassing in a day would be more than enough. Very unnerving for any girl/woman, as it can feel very threatening, even some banter can feel threatening.
How would any guy feel if he was threatened by a someone on a daily basis, as he walked along the street, minding his own business ? He might have agoraphobia in the end.
Women should carry pepper spray, to put all these 'jungle creepies' out of their misery !

Don't understand how making a donation would help think

Should wear a burkha. Only comment then would be "hey you got lovely eyes" or "can I take your tent pegs out"

The Considerate Constructors Scheme frowns upon the wolf whistle and the builders bum.

As Granny said some of the comments are banter and maybe meant to try and cheer her up as she seemed down. but some were just sexist harassment for which I presume laws are already in place.

I have a lady of foreign extraction who I see maybe once a week when I am doing the school crossing where she takes children (think she is a nanny) and she always looks so glum and miserable-I always make a point of giving her a big smile and saying good morning its a lovely day (if it is) .

Think some of us guys wouldn't mind the occasional bit of banter-- "hey sexy guy--love your zimmer"

well I've had it twice while I've been walking the dog.first time I was by Morrisons in New Brighton with my ex,a car with a bunch of lads in shouting comments,my ex turned round & said "friends of yours"he wasn't my ex then.Another time I was walking back from the park & some young lad driving past shouted"I'll give you one"well there was no one else around. If anyone tried anything they would have to get past my dog, she's my bodyguard,no one gets close.I just want to go out without hassle though.
