Hi, it,s not. If you have had exposure to asbestos you can get them. They take 10 to 30 yrs to show on an X-ray. People don't realize they have been exposed to asbestos, before 1980 it was used in house building or some of your family could have worked in it and brought it home on their clothes. It doesn't do anything, it just shows on a chest X-ray in later life.
