I like the idea, but mine's full and has been for weeks!

So if they want plastic drinks bottles, but not tetra packs or polystyrene, i'm guessing that includes the HDP (high density polystyrene) plastic milk bottles? CONFUSED!

Urrr
My Grey bin, that looks more like a charcoal bin arrived today.
Along with the instructions and calendar too.

Jesus its complicated,
i'm sure were all going to make mistakes.

Plastic Bottles but no lids.
No shredded paper in the paper bin no its nuts.

Looks like i'm part of the equation now frown

First post updated with booklet download

I gots one too, its more black than grey.

Fook recycling and all this stupid willy nilly about bottle tops, I'll be using the old bin until its full, then filling the black one with rubbish aswell!
Obviously disguising the crap with the odd plastic bottle on top wink
Posted By: Mark Re: New Grey bin? FAQ - 11th Jun 2007 4:37pm
your not supposed to crush the plastic bottles.
I reccomend puttng them in last on the top wink

My arse raftl
Posted By: BMW Joe Re: New Grey bin? FAQ - 11th Jun 2007 4:47pm
WTF! your not meant to crush them!?!?

either we simply put everything in one bin for you guys to recycle or we don't. Simple.

No one wants to be faffing about with rubbish for half an hour being careful not to crush the fooking plastic bottles, even if it is to help the environment!

When you get a mo read the booklet that came with your new bin,
or use the link in the first post..

Its comical i'm going to do my first bit of recycling just now.

I have to rinse out a Tub Butter.

Wish me luck lol
Posted By: BMW Joe Re: New Grey bin? FAQ - 11th Jun 2007 4:52pm
This is daft.

So let me get this right...

they accept foil and yoghurt pots, but not youghurt pot foil lids
they accept glass, but not broken glass
they accept plastic, but not plastic bags
they accept magazines, but not catalogues

WHAT THE F**CK IS GOING ON?!?!

mad mad mad mad
Posted By: BMW Joe Re: New Grey bin? FAQ - 11th Jun 2007 4:55pm
leaflet is utter cack

Try and solve this:

WEEK 1: we will collect just your green wheelie bin

• WEEK 2: we will collect your grey wheelie bin

• WEEK 3: we will collect your green wheelie bin again

• WEEK 4: we will collect your grey wheelie bin again

Your brown bin will also be collected on your usual day

Q: so what day is the brown bin collected?

The bin men have called up my street to collect the Grey Bin Rubbish today.

Give them a little credit i did see one of the lads
walking up driveways to get the grey bins.

I think he was doing this because 80% of the bins
in my street were GREEN when they should have been GREY today.

So i'm having a quiet laugh as there is a green bin
in my street that's overflowing and its also has bin
bags next to it, but the next collection for green is
another week away omg

Fun and games
