Just incase Ive given the thumbs up previously to this place in Higher Bebington, for their two fish n chip meals for £8 , I wont be going again. Its re-invented itself which meant we paid over £9 each this week for fish n chips . Literally six handcut chunky chips (of which two were burned) ,in a 'posh' stack , a disgusting mush of hard and soft tinned garden peas mixed with what tasted like a teaspoon of bottled mint sauce stirred through , nice although smaller than last time piece of fish ,but in thick batter which was still grey/soggy/undercooked on the inside .Disappointing. Back to the Rock (opp Rock Ferry station) again next week I think, for the roast.
