I came in around 9 oclock and crashed on sofa, left my 125cc bike on the road, It's a yamaha tw 125 , Left bike on the road with steering lock on , My dads moped was next to it , I usualy put a big fat lock round both bikes tyres, and just didnt, anyway, police knocked at my house, and said its just nearly bin robbed, so went to see it, not that much damage, but theyve ripped the clocks off, and the ignition doesnt seem to have been touched , the steering lock is bust, Police forensicks are coming in the morning to take finger prints, hope they catch the little barstard,
it was in Hawarden avenue, Liscard, The description was that there was 3 lads, and 2 was in black hoodys and 1 was in white hoody, message me if anyone knows anything thanks, or even better just post it
If you have something mobile enough to get robbed, likelihood is it's gonna get robbed. I'm amazed the police even took an interest. You were lucky Scott.
One of the neighbors called up and said it had happend to him before, i was lucky to get it back i know that, im only 17.
My road is a cul de sac and for the last couple of weeks I have noticed a police presence. Turns out they were after someone who had fallen behind with the payments on their car and the car was towed away. I dunno about you but is that all the police are interested in these days? Someone posted on here about not wanting to be pulled over by an unmarked police car but would like to see more foot patrol officers (my interpretation, not their words). I wholeheartedly agree. Not that it's likely to happen.
They're easy targets, the police are too scared of chavs.
I hope they find them and boil them in oil. A few years ago mine went from outside the house, no idea how they got the lock off, police knocked at 4am to say they had caught them trying to bump start it down Derby hill on the prom. One got a £15 fine and the other got a conditional discharge. The damage cost me £300 and the bike never ran the same again.
I'm amazed the police even took an interest.
cuz that is a really helpful comment!

hmm...could it just be they end up busy dealing with dross who cant take responsibility for their own sad little lives...thus when decent folk need them they are always readily availiable....

I must admit I have to agree with the goose there. My bike was half stolen from mine ( they couldnt get it out of the gate) and the police have been really helpful and told me they were going to put it in the notifications section in the local paper and must have phoned me 3 times to see how I was etc etc!
Time for the Handbag fight icon!!!!!
