Its actually a pro mountain rescue spec and therefore whichever oike has got it is unlikely to realise how damn expensive it is!

If you have a spare PC (or dont mind leaving it on) you could buy a DVR card from maplin and add cameras to it like I did, This way I can pick and choose what type of camera I want depending were it is going to be in or on the house.

you can watch them live over the internet too.

If you go into maplin at cheshire oaks they have loads of cameras on display, you can pick and choose what ones you want,

For exhample I have:

2 large day/night camera's on my drive and back garden
1 small day/night camera on my front door
