RIP Vera, another part of our history gone, got her cd, played it on VE day will have a listen this afternoon, they say we live in the past, but I think its just a retreat for memories.

Classic songs that will never die, she will be in the memories of people for a long time.

When I hear her sing it always takes me back to sitting in air raid shelters singing her songs as loud as we could to try and drown out the sound of bombs falling and the ack ack blazing away. Very nostalgic. R.I.P Vera.
