Being attacked again tonight. More serious with multiple missiles . Some have been intercepted. Israel doing it's weekly jaunt or testing Iran.

Iran has sent in 200 militants to Idlib
Turkey sends anti-air missiles to Syrian rebels.
People all over the M5 highway (Damascus to Aleppo and beyond) now that it's been freed from terrorists controlling it and Syrian Army took back Saraqib,
Nowhere for the people to rent homes, no homes, too many people needing them and too expensive.
Snow and freezing conditions.
Turkey backing the terrorists , and the West are sympathising with the tragedy, but compliant at the same time.

Let's not forget Turkey allowed all the militants, terrorists into Syria in the first place, and now Erdogan has formed a 'National Syrian Army' made up from all the different terrorists groups.
.. and the West say nothing.
Turkey is protecting the terrorists, and the West says nothing .
The news tells us about the appalling situation , but only what they retrieve from the propaganda footage of the WH's , and the West does nothing.

We have Holocaust Remembrance Day when it's again repeated that such a humanitarian crisis should never happen again... and the West does nothing in Syria.
UN send in food parcels and medication... only 7% arrives where it should get to.
There are pleas from people within Syria to listen to the people on the ground , the West doesn't listen.

Who has got control drive a country to death poverty, starvation and desperation and who is prepared to turn a blind eye even if Turkey a NATO country is in Syria with it's weaponry and taking control of towns and villages by using the terrorists, militants, and Syrian government opposition to yet again cause more bloodshed.

What would we expect if the same happened here, and Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Bristol had all been infiltrated with terrorists, who had control of the hospitals for their own, control of the school to educate in extreme Islam, held civilians as hostages, and raped, murdered and controlled the all the areas, took the food, money and medicines. Or drowned our people in baths of acid , what would we do ?

What would we do ? Would we sit back and do nothing and allow our government to be turned over to extremists and Islamists ?
Why is Assad the bad guy when he's trying to rid his country of these murderous animals ? Every time he gets close, either US, Turkey or Israel move in and stop the process. Something else or someone else is responsible for the tragedies.

And the film that won an award and nominated for an Oscar last week. 'For Sama'

Waad al Kateab now refugees living in London and she has a job with Channel 4. Lovely family until we see who her husband (known as the sarin doctor in Syria)gets along with .

The guy pictured on the left was responsible for a 12 year old boy being beheaded.

How stupid are we in this country ?.

2 Syrian helicopters shot down in 3 days by jihadists . All lives lost

The M5 Damascus to Aleppo is now completely free for the first time in 9 yrs. ( imagine the M6 being infiltrated with jihadist in their hideouts for 9 yrs !)

Israeli airstrikes last night on Damascus, said to have come from the Israeli occupied Golan region, has been rebuked by Netanyahu as "maybe it was the Belgian Air Force " raftl

There's a few mad men in the vicinity, Erdogan being at the top of this list. Maybe they are all taking captagon, there have been and still are huge supplies uncovered by the SAA in many areas they have liberated. Saudi Arabia in it up to their necks .

https://www.syrianews.cc/syrian-authorities-confiscate-captagon/

and here is one of the main reasons Erdogan is obsessed with holding onto the north . Syria has of gas that links up with Russian pipelines and onto Europe. Trump wants to stop the flow of Russian gas into Europe because US want to export to Europe. Turkey has been left out of the equation now that the Israeli intended pipeline from the Mediterranean won't be going up through Syria and through to Turkey.

https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Turkeys-Plan-To-Sabotage-Israeli-Gas.html

If this horrible war has been all down to gas, the world should be ashamed of itself. They seemingly didn't learn anything from Iraq, which is still in turmoil and so is Libya .

"ABC NEWS IS LYING TO YOU. TODAY, THE US TROOPS WHO ARE OCCUPYING THE SYRIAN OIL WELLS IN EASTERN SYRIA WERE PELTED WITH STONES AND SMALL ARMS FIRE BY CIVILIANS OF THE AREA, LOCAL FARMERS AND EVEN YOUNG KIDS. I SAW THE VIDEO, THEY WERE JUST LOCAL PEOPLE WHO ARE SICK AND TIRED OF BEING OPPRESSED BY THE ILLEGAL AMERICAN TROOPS. THOSE LOCAL, AND MYSELF, ARE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY, COOKING GAS AND LOW ON GASOLINE BECAUSE PRESIDENT TRUMP ORDERED THOSE TROOPS TO STAY AND STEAL THE OIL. THEY ARE FOLLOWING ORDERS, BUT THOSE ORDERS MAKE THEM THIEVES. ABC NEWS HAS MISREPORTED THE ENTIRE EVENT, AND THEIR JOURNALISTS ARE NOT ANYWHERE NEAR THE PLACE, AND NOT EVEN INSIDE SYRIA. THEY ARE SO FAR AWAY THEY WOULD NEED A PLANE TICKET. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. THE FACTS OF THE CASE: THE US TROOPS CAME UNDER ATTACK BY STONES AND SMALL ARMS FIRE, PRIVATE CITIZENS USING THEIR HOUSEHOLD GUNS. IN RETALIATION, THE US MILITARY BOMBED RESIDENTIAL AREAS, KILLING CIVILIANS AND WOUNDING OTHERS, AS YOU SEE FROM THE HOSPITAL PHOTO CAPTION. CIVILIANS ARE ALLOWED TO FIGHT THE OCCUPATION WITH ARMS UNDER THE GENEVA CONVENTION. THE US MILITARY IN RESPONSE SHOULD HAVE BACKED OFF, FOUND A SAFE PLACE TO RETREAT TO, THEIR BASE, AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE SENT PLANES TO BOMB CIVILIANS. I COUNT TODAY AS ONE OF THE DARKEST CHAPTERS OF THE US OCCUPATION OF SYRIA." (2)

...and with regard to hospitals being bombed by the so called 'Syrian Regime' not any hospital has been named by the White Helmets or the SOHR, never is a name given because they are underground terrorist hospitals.

Here is a piece written by Andrew Ashdown, and English Cleric who spent time in Syria on a number of occasions . He has written many articles and recorded videos telling what he has witnessed ,and its not what we are brainwashed with from the media.
+++
When I met with the Doctor's Council of Aleppo in September 2016, they shared the same realities, and in April 2018 I was able to visit some of the hospitals in East Aleppo mentioned by Eva and Vanessa in this article where the evidence and facts of what they wrote remained in place.
As the members of the Doctor's Council in Aleppo said to me (Andrew Ashdown) in September 2016 when asked about reports that there were just a few doctors left in the city: "Firstly you must understand that there is a media war against Syria so you won't hear about what's happening in Government-controlled areas. Actually, there are 250 paediatricians currently active in Aleppo. The one that was killed (reported at the time as 'the last paediatrician in Aleppo) is not on any register as a doctor of this city. Nor is the 'Al Quds' hospital that was supposedly destroyed known in Aleppo at all. It was probably a field clinic set up by the terrorists. When they say that a 'hospital' has been targeted by the government, they are usually temporary field-clinics:; they are not registered clinics or hospitals. Today, there are 4260 doctors in Aleppo of which 3150 are active. Of these, about 1500 are specialists. Since the start of the conflict, 20 registered hospitals have been destroyed by the terrorists (these are not mentioned in western media). But there are still 6 active public hospitals and 40 small private hospitals in the city. At the moment, we have a huge shortage of medicines and equipment in both public and private hospitals including MRI machines. Our priorities are spare parts for equipment. Most of the aid given by the WHO and by the other agencies, and all the resources given by Saudi Arabia and Turkey goes to the terrorists, not to the citizens of the city."

Aleppo celebrating with a big party tonight. It is at last free of all terrorists ! SAA have taken control of all villages surrounding Aleppo.

After eight years of failed attempts SAA have retaken 30+ more towns and villages today, and one army member has gone home to see his family for the first time since 2012. ..
Meanwhile :
Battleships in the Mediterranean shelled the town of Anjara with ballistic missiles as regime forces tried to advance in the town and reach Qabatan al-Jabal.

Trump ' DEMANDS' Russia to stop backing Syrian atrocities ! (considering Turkey supports the terrorists, and Trump supports Turkey, that's a bit ripe)
and
Turkey is threatening Russia Envoy, saying they'll make skyscrapers of skulls out of the Russian army !

All words.. that help to extend the suffering of the people.
Funny how Aleppo is celebrating big time tonight because Assad has overcome and regained their city and district for them. What negative propaganda will the media wrap around that I wonder ?

It might not seem much to us, but it's like the end of a world war to the Syrians. Nine years when most of the world was fighting against them.

Sunday 16/02/2020 they came out onto the streets to celebrate the complete liberation of Aleppo and Aleppo province , by the SAA from the terrorists. An army made up from Christians, Druze, Shia, Sunni, and people from all walks of life who are like one family, just like Syria was before the structured and inflicted divide .

Over 70 bodies found in mass grave in East Ghouta , soldiers and civilians killed by terrorists.

This war, is not over yet by far, but there needs to be sanctions lifted, so the people can have gas and electricity to cook with and to keep warm in winter. Electricity rationed 3 hours on 3 hours off a day in the harshest of winters, they use propane gas on ration in a gas rich country, fuel is restricted and rationed. From outside looking in, it seems to me that the outsiders are the dictators and implementers of sanctions, resulting in hardship , poverty, starvation and death. The Syrians are undefeated against the rest of the world, they are strong and united . A Polish NGO is offering module homes to Syria,.... after 9 yrs of keeping quiet ??. what an insult to Syria !
If Erdogan withdraws from Idlib province, will he take all the terrorists he has supported with him ? I doubt it . If he refuses to get out of a country that does not belong to him, I think Russia might take a heavy hand as they have said in the last few days that Russia will support Syria, Trump is getting scared , NATO has said it won't support Turkey but ... . Turkey has threatened Syria to pull back from Idlib province by the end of the month or else ! Somehow I don't think Syria is likely to listen to Erdogan any longer.

Well, well. The video above was removed from You tube. It happens all the time if it's good news or if it tells the truth or if it puts any other agenda forward, contrary to the UN, US, UK take on things.

Let's try this. Already been removed once from You tube, but not to be defeated this gentleman has tried again to get the truth out.

The real truth and I wish that our politicians could view it, Corbyn, Thornbury, and all those who speak up for those who are never heard. Plenty of innocents massacred or taken captive in Aleppo. Who has spoken for them, who has spoken up for the 6 nuns who were held hostage. I hate to think what might have happened to them.
Those is Idlib Province heading towards Afrin (in SKy News report .. which was in fact, made on footage they showed back in May 2019) are the families of the rebels , terrorists and Muslim Brotherhood . The reason not many men were filmed, they have stayed behind to fight in Idlib city, and the hospitals are field hospitals created by the terrorists. the SAA hadn't even got as far as Idlib city, when they aired that documentary the other day, and they still haven't got to Idlib city. Why is the west producing propaganda footage ?

But here we have a film explaining what the Turks have achieved and how they have brought a thriving country to it's knees.
I don't think this should go unquestioned by our government, opposition or the international community, unless of course they were all part of it.
£30 mins of informative facts, originally published in 2017. If we have any conscience or soul we should at
least listen .

He says :
Posting this again, since it is very relevant these days and shows that turkey in the period 2012-2013 consciously helped destroy the industrial capital of the Syria, Aleppo, using its proxy-Jihadists as dismantled and stole more than 1000 Factories and transported them to turkey. Not mentioned with a single word of our beloved hovedstrømsmedier!

Israel bombing Damascus again tonight. How is it that the UN says and does nothing ? They have simultaneously bombed Gaza too. At the same time the coalition chinooks are dropping heavy stuff into Deir Ezzor .

Nobody seems very interested in the humanitarian crisis, or at least only when it's shoved in front of them . That's fine, but it will get far worse as things are so tense in that region now, one wrong move from either side is just about ready to break into a major massacre/war.
The situation is very bad and would seem that nether Russia or Turkey are about to back down. NATO have changed their mind and said they will back Turkey. So Iran will play their cards too.
I won't post anymore on this subject as it's clearly of no concern to Wirral ... i.e. until Turkey decides to open the flood gates and allow the camps to spill into Europe..... which will happen. The next meeting between Putin, Merkel and Erdogan is on 5th March....... no hurry, it's only blood at the end of the day, nothing a glass of wine can't camouflage !

Well as Erdogan called for Muslims in Europe to produce more babies , just a couple of years ago, Boris is not about to be dictated to !

This , posted 3 hours ago sort of paints a volatile picture :

Col. Majed Daboul says our Army on the brink defeat of last night due to the Turkish air strikes and attacks that came across the border into Edlib.
The Russians moved suddenly to close the airspace with six fighter jets operating on rotor to provide a no fly zonec , and Saraqeb is now with the Syrian Army. The Russians also attacked all the Turkish convoys crossing the borders and the checking points with caliber missiles The Syrian Army is marching now toward Al Zaweiyah mountain to conduct mopping up operations

#Turkish military convoy entered into #Idlib governorate through Kafrlousin border crossing in the northern Idlib countryside, consisting of 55 vehicles, including tanks, artillery and personnel carriers, to increase the number of trucks and military vehicles that arrived to the de-escalation zone in Idlib during the period from the 2nd of February until now, to more than 3,130 Turkish military trucks and vehicles that entered #Syria, carrying tanks, armored vehicles, mobile guard posts and military radars, while the number of Turkish soldiers who deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during that period have reached to more than 8,100 Turkish soldiers.
With the start of The delusional Turkish operation, the forces of the Syrian govermentv destroyed Erdogan's dream to cut through the road # Aleppo # Damascus

In Saraqeb terrorists and the Turkish army has learned a lesson do not play with fire .or you get your fingers burned

Turkish initial success was based on electronic warfare and deceit.
They deceived the Russians in the peace talks saying they would hold off and then a surprise attack using missiles tanks and troops and aircover .that will never happen again
The electronic warfare consisted of new equipment provided by outside powers that where used to blind Syrian radar and Russian radar
That will not happen again .new equipment is being supplied by russia to counter this threat .also latest drone killing equipment .I have also learned that the Iranians are going to supply counter drone equipment as well
Stand by for more posts

The farce doesn't stop in that part of the world. Here we have : ISIS terrorists confess that they have carried out many operations in coordination with US occupation forces in al-Tanf base. Al Tanf is the American base in Syria.

Add the mysterious death of John le Mesurier British co founder of White Helmets, in Turkey at the end of last year, and after Mr Pompeo's visit to Israel last Wednesday, we now hear today that the Chinese Ambassador to Israel is found dead in his bed. (previously Ambassador to Ukraine and only been in Israel since February) . It has also been announced since Wednesday (Mr Pompeo's visit ) that The United States of America announced its intention, together with Israel, to launch a large-scale attacks on Iran’s position in Syria, which will affect Southern, Eastern, and Western parts of Syria.

Trumps promise of sorting out the world , just hasn't happened has it ? When he has ogres like Pompeo former USA Officer and later director of CIA, alongside, he has no power what so ever. When Military or ex Military have control of the ropes, there is never peace , they thrive on the ambush. So there is Netanyahu, ex military, Gantz ex Military, so not expecting any change from Israel's position . Pompeo ex Military, Putin ex Military ! And John Bolton the architect of Iraqs invasion, before Pompeo, who wanted regime change in Iran, Syria, Libya, Venezuela, Cuba, Yemen and North Korea, thus putting the world peace in jeopardy. The position is still the same.
US are evil ! Someone should land a bomb on them, let them see what it feels like.

Oh yes, James it was. That's the story, and you believe that ?

Comes from his friends and wife, initial investigators only repeated what they heard from them, main investigation concurred. The body was released early.

Not saying he wasn't depressed, but conflicting stories don't make for the truth. His body was returned to UK in no time at all. His wife was also into secret stuff employed by the Foreign Office in some capacity. Would we expect them to tell the truth... NO , I don't think so.
He had taken sleeping pills, we were told, so why was he awake ?

I just never thought of it as suspicious and took it as media frenzy, nobody had a significant amount to gain by killing or even punishing him. If they wanted to send a message, a bullet from a distance would have done the job unequivocally.

Peter Ford, the United Kingdom’s former ambassador to Syria and Bahrain, doubts the official narratives over the mysterious death of Le Mesurier. Ford told MintPress the following when asked to weigh in on the burgeoning controversy.


It is sad for anyone to be so stressed that they take their own life. But if Le Mesurier was stressed, how do we know it wasn’t because he was afraid that the truth about financial irregularities he was suspected of was beginning to leak out? Fear of being uncovered in impropriety has sent many over the edge. Le Mesurier’s company Mayday Rescue was coming under the microscope.

Last year the Dutch government stopped funding Mayday because they weren’t sure what Mayday were doing with the money. That’s in the public record.

Le Mesurier sat at the centre of a tangled web of money laundering companies. The wheels were beginning to come off his operation.

With so much money passing through his hands–Western governments sent upwards of $200 million to the White Helmets–and such lax controls the temptation to defraud must have been immense.

Are we sure Le Mesurier was not under investigation by the British authorities? The British Foreign Office statement following his death was strangely tight-lipped:

We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of James Le Mesurier. Our condolences go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.

Why no mention of his wonderful work? Funny, that.

Another desperate plea from the people of Syria who live on the ground there and in amongst the deplorable conditions being thrust upon them.

Is there anyone who has the courage to speak up for these people ? I doubt it, because there are too many cowards in this country, frightened of being black listed due to propaganda that has been fed to and swallowed by the British public.

No MP raises the Syrian crisis , ever. Has any one of them even heard of the Caesar Act ? Has any member of the public heard about the Caesar Act that was implemented last week ?

And yet again ,this will fall on deaf ears and hidden under the carpet in the hope the truth will go away. We call ourselves humanitarians.. what a bloody joke !

The White Helmets constantly financed and supported because it was Jo Cox Foundation that partly funded them. No one would wish to destroy a foundation that was set up in memory of someone who so tragically died, and her good intentions were misguided, but many more have tragically died due to the continual financial support for White Helmets .

A message from Father Daniel.

More messages from the people from all walks of life in Syria. A nation that is being starved to death by sanctions. Sanctions inflicted on them by the Western Government.
Sanctions do not hurt the Governements , sanctions hurt the people.
The Syrian people are protecting their land, their oil, their animals, their children, their livelihood, but despite the Briritsh Government saying they have given so much in aid to Syria, it has gone to Idlib, where the terrorists have gained.
No despatches of food, medicines or anyting else have arrived from Britian for the general public, as Pierre le Corf, a humanitarian who lives in Aleppo said, anything being despatched in any country is always stamped with the name of the country that donated. Nothing has arrived in the general population of Syria from Britain, from France or anywhere else. All has gone to the terrorists in the region of Idlib, because that is where the camps are and they are who are controlling the camps in that region.
UN despatches of food and medicines etc. were snaffled off by other groups , I have witnessed that on videos.
Now the Syrians are treating Covid with the equvalent to pandol. No food for the ordinary family, inflation is extreme and food is now too expensive for those who have lost everything. They are now down to boiling chicken heads. They can't go anywhere, they can;t do anything, they can;t eat, they have no medicines, they don;t have anything and once the winter sets in I doubt they will be able to afford heating .
Then we wonder why all these migrants are coming to this country from Syria !!

Why are our MP's remaining silent ? We have Syrian refugees in this part of the country, why are they being hidden ? Why are the media silent ? What is hoped to be achieved in Syria ? What was this war all about, because all it has succeeded in doing is slaughtering 100,000's of innocent people, jeopardising the lives of those who fled their homeland and are still fleeing and the livelihoods of the rest of the remaining population ? The old, the young, the disabled and the sick . Blame ISIS, yes, blame FSA, yes, blame Al Nusra, yes..... but why the severe sanctions if USA didn't want to overthrow the Government ? The road map was clear to see years ago, and now the actions of US, backed by UK and EU paint a much clearer picture of the destination that was intended as it was in Iraq. In Syria, they just set off on a different route .

I don't expect even the response of a fly to this, but at least those who might have a glimmer of compassion will read and understand .

A testimony from the forgotten people.

It used to be such a lovely country and it is obvious why there is an exodus of their people.
Sadly the huge influx of immigrants from Africa is compounding the issue of taking everyone in and giving them asylum.

Thank you Mikeeb. It's nice to know that some are aware, even if it's not something most want to talk about. People filled with fear for talking about it ??? What's that about ? The same response world wide. People are scared to mention the name 'Syria '.
It's not the Syrians population who are the bad people. It's the Brits,Canadians, French, Italians, Spanish, and all the other nationalities who went to fight and to kill the Syrian people in their own country .

Such an outcry when Alan Henning was murdered, it wasn;t the Syrians who killed him , it was Jihadi John who was a Brit !

Yet another example of BBC mis-representation.

A report on Amer Refugee Camp in Idlib Province , northern Syria. We could be forgiven through false reporting ,for placing blame on the Syrian Government . 600 doctors for a population of 4 million in North West Syria, that is not 4 million in Amer Camp. More attempted propoganda from the BBC. The doctors ran away to Europe because ISIS were taking them hostage to work in their underground terroist hospitals (probabyl many still do)

If they wish to report, they should follow up with an explanation afterwards, explaining the truth of the situation and how it has arisen.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-middle-east-54697587

Atme camp. Clearly a camp where people fled originally for safety, but was taken buy ISIS and now has the SAA backed by Turkey controlling it.
N.B. The Syrian National Army is an Army put together of Syrian militants, militias, terrorists and Islamists by Erdogan of Turkey . The same army he has sent to fight against the Armenians, and in Lybia. A very clever move because he is using an army he has created from nationals of a differnt country, and therefore Erdogan cannot be accused of any war crimes etc. An evil man and committed Islamist.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atme

Atme (Arabic: اطمه‎, also spelled Atma, Atima, Atmeh) is a town in northern Syria, administratively part of the Idlib Governorate, located north of Idlib and just east of the border with Turkey. It lies southeast of Deir Ballut, south of Jindires, northwest of Qah and north of Sarmada and al-Dana. In the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics' 2004 census, it had a population of 2,255.[1]

The Olive Tree Camp is a refugee camp that emerged during the Syrian Civil War. Since October 2011, internally displaced Syrians who failed to cross over to Turkey started settling between the olive trees. According to the Maram Foundation, more than 28,000 people live in this camp.[when?]

A 150-year-old tree in Atme was cut down by members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in November 2013. They accused the locals of venerating the tree instead of God.[2] Recently, the town came under the control of the Syrian National Army.

I'm missing your point, they were quite clear in stating "600 doctors for a population of 4 million in North West Syria" at no point did they imply there were 4 million in Amer.

Over half of the 4 million are displaced people, 80% of them are women and children. Across the border there are 3.6 million Syrian refugees in Turkey and another 2 million in other countries.

Most of the displaced people within Northwest Syria aren't within camps but are spread round the various districts, the most being in Dana with around half a million. Idlib has far more than Aleppo Provence.

There are programs underway to not only repair the existing devastated properties but also build new houses.

Some of the refugees within Syria are Palestinians.

He said at the very beginning of the report " this is Ahmed refugee camp in North West Syria, it's one of the largest " . As said 600 doctors for 4 million people , doctors were either taken hostage along with hospital equipment from taken from Syrian hopsitals to be put in underground hospitals, or they fled when the battle was ongoing in Raqqa in 2015 to Europe. The place where heads were stuck on spikes around the main roundabout of the town.

The under ground hospitals house the military equipment and stores for the Islamist war, and every time Assad/ Russia has bombed a hospital, it is always an underground hospital for the terrorists. That's never reported either. Probably a good enough reason why people are not getting tested out there in the camps or towns and villages. Frightened of being coersed into something they are scared of, or having to pay money they don;t have for treatment, which then becomes a blackmail/ controlling situation.

Exactly the reason that friend of mine in Syria would not go to the hospitals or the doctors when his 75 yr old mother was ill. The national Hospitals were taken over by ISIS or blown up by them via underground tunnels, and replaced by another underground hospital. Many doctors performing in those hospitals are not on the National Health Database and are not known .

Idlib province has more dislpaced because they are displaced due to being controlled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a militant group with links to al-Qaida, since January 2019.

When East Ghouta and Daraa among other places, were liberated by Assad's Army, all those terrorists and affiliated groups mentioned above were transported to Idlib along with their families . Idlib is a hot bed of terroism, any reports coming out of Idlib are more than certainly given by those who are being scutinised by the controlling groups or even members of such groups. They are not free people in the towns. Those in the camps in Idlib, including populations from the Christian villages who escaped after their villages had been burned and women held hostage and raped , and are now being watched over by Erdogan's mighty warriors.

The building of new houses is mighty odd, as the land has not been recalimed by Assad yet, so who is building the houses and who is financing the houses, and who will be living in the houses... ??? What will happen to the displaced population in such places ? They won't be getting the houses, it will be ISIL and associates or an extention to Turkeys border . A bit like Golan and Israel.

Any provisions supplied by UNICEF, or any other organisation is despatched via one road in and one road out through Turkey, and confiscated along route by the terrorists. Always have been , and the White Helmets were another band of bad brothers some who got paid via the underground hospitals. No money, medicines or medical equipement allowed into Syria for the National general hospitals , that's the sanctions US have placed on the ordinary populations.

Palestinans have lived in Syria for years , since the 1960s whe they were rushed out of Israel and never allowed back. Just as many in Jordan.

Forgot to point out that out of 4 million refugees, only about 10% are in camps. Most refugees live in host communities in urban and rural settings outside of the UN-run camp system and UNHCR do not provide in Turkey. .

Actually you are correct, the BBC did get it wrong, they are using the term "refugees" for Syrians in Syria when they mean displaced persons. This totally confuses any reference to statistics.

As I previously stated, only around 50% of the 4 million mentioned are displaced people, the rest are regular residents.

UN do assist with the host communities within Syria, not just the camps, they initiated the repair and new build programs about three(?) years ago rather than continually expanding temporary (eg tent) accommodation. This benefits the residents as well as the displaced persons and refugees.

Yes, the UN assisted in northern Syria, North West and North East but not the rest of it. As we know northern Syria is Idlib Province and Allepo Province . They are not assisting the general population, i.e. those outside the Northern territories and as from July the cross border aid stopped so nothing to the Northern region either. (unless a contract has been renewed.)

Those who live in provinces Assad has liberated don;t get anything.
That's what I'm reading from English and Europeans who live in Syria. They haven't even got food now, down to the last crumbs because what there is to buy they can;t afford as prices have rocketed . No money, no food, no petrol, no gas .. it's really dire, and the world closes its eyes.

They'll open them pretty sharply when there's another influx of people trying to get to Europe... including the Armenians who are also being displaced now.

The only building I have heard of was infrastructure and homes built by the Russians, in the Aleppo communities . The West are stupid really, as they won't want Russia so close to the EU, but all they've done is given the biggest opportunity for Russia to take command and control . Whether they will or not, remains to be seen.

I see today a whole load of Albanians have been reinstated from Syria to their home country. So more terror on the loose eventually.

I just wonder what we would do here, if Arrowe Park Hopsital, Clatterbridge , the Royal, etc. were all hijacked and taken over at the same time. Any amount of visitors can enter without security checks (under normal conditions) Would we visit a hospital run by terroists, and how would the authorities actually get rid of them after they'd ambushed holding a hospital full of patients , doctors and nurses as hostages.?

Well that would fall right in line with Boris's managed decline of the North.

The Manchester Nightingale Hospital is to re-open but .....

No COVID patients are allowed to use it (it is purely a recuperation hospital)

All COVID patients have to remain at the general hospitals ensuring that other services at those hospitals have to be cut back.

Any hospital that has the audacity to send a patient to the Nightingale hospital has also got to send staff to look after that patient.

These rules do not apply to other Nightingale hospitals.

Here we go .. now brought to the streets of Europe. No police and silence from the French authorities. Macron has got a problem that will spill over to the rest of Europe, and us included in the not too distant future. We need to be taking note instead of thinking it's too far away to bother us. Well it isn;t,

Lack of any condemnation of Turkey's actions by EU , or US.

Tom Duggan:

The first time I met Reverend Andrew Ashdown a few days prior to this trip he made to Aleppo,it was a ground breaking trip ,we arranged with Syrian TV to join his group in east Aleppo and record the visit .he give an honest report .of the real situation within Aleppo.he was the first western man to enter east aleppo.with total disregard for his own safety.since that time we have become life long friends .
This is a man who has more humanity in his little finger than the whole of the church of England has in it's entire body .a man who is honest and walks with God where angels fear to tred,we have had many adventures together since our first meeting .we were the first to cross the desert route to Dier Ezzor most of it through no man's land .I remember filming him on a back road and the SAA patrol telling us we were in enemy territory .Andrew Ashdown is an outstanding man and a true friend to Syria and it's people, and one of the bravest people I have ever met

Andrew Ashdown : 13th December 2020

As long as I live, during this week of the year, I will remember the days I spent in this week of 2016 in Aleppo in the final days of the battle for the city. Seared into my memory are the sights of visiting areas of East Aleppo and the Old City just hours after their liberation from terrorist groups; meeting with some of the tens of thousands of people who fled to government-held territory and hearing the stories of the terror they experienced under militant control; visiting the Sheikh Jarrar Industrial city whose factories had been destroyed and their equipment stolen and transported to Turkey; of witnessing the jubilation of thousands of people in the streets as they celebrated the liberation of the city; of spending time in West Aleppo amongst the 1.5 million inhabitants who were ‘disappeared’ by western media who experienced constant missile attacks from the terrorist groups who occupied the eastern part of the city. When a few days after my return to England, in a BBC interview I said: “The situation on the ground is very different to what we have been hearing in our media,” the presenter cut the interview and said, “You can’t say that.”
These pictures (I have dozens more) are a part of history now. I have visited several times since and things have improved considerably. Within months, life was returning to the streets of East Aleppo. The ancient soukhs are being restored, and once again, the people of Aleppo can drink tea in the cafes that have reopened in the plaza in front of the citadel. If, as a foreigner who loves Syria, I feel a deep ache in my soul every time I think of Syria, I cannot begin to imagine how Syrians who lived through it all must feel, especially as the world deliberately tries to prevent reconstruction and continues to support those who would destroy the plurality of Syrian society. But thanks to their resilience and the support of friends and allies, Syrians are getting on with reconstruction anyway, even in the face of covid and despite the criminal impact of international sanctions.
Below is a piece I wrote from Aleppo in this week 4 years ago. Since then, even academics have published about the inconsistency of how the battles for Mosul and Aleppo are framed in western discourse. Despite the fact that many more civilians died in the western alliance’s carpet-bombing of Mosul, than in 6 years of battles by the Syrian Government against the terrorist groups in Aleppo, the former was framed as a great and just victory against terrorism. It is interesting that news of Aleppo was switched off like a tap once the city was liberated. Western media made no attempt to interview any of the tens of thousands of civilians who emerged from East Aleppo about what they actually experienced, and they have not returned to the city since.
The suffering is not over yet. There is much physical building and healing of hearts, minds and souls to achieve yet. But there are many who, against all odds, are striving towards that goal. It should surely be a moral imperative for governments, people of faith, and humanitarian organisations, to support those initiatives.
12 December 2016. “I sensed that I was coming to Aleppo at an historic moment, and tonight I think that is true. Throughout the night there has been an unceasing and relentless bombardment of the last 'rebel'-controlled pockets in the city, all of which I have a bird's eye view from my hotel room. Every few seconds there are huge explosions rending the air and lighting up the sky a few kilometres away, interspersed with rapid bursts of gunfire. I can see tracer bullets, and the trail of missiles as they hit their target. This is a frightening, relentless and prolonged attack that has gone on for hours. I watch and listen with sadness and ambiguity. Sadness because as a priest I abhor violence, hate conflict, am thinking of any civilians trapped in that hell-hole and wondering how many are dying - and because like everyone else, I only want peace. But ambiguity, because over the past few years, I have been listening to the voices of ordinary Syrians whose cries and experiences of brutality and violence at the hands of extremist terrorist factions supported by the international community have been ignored by the outside world ; and whose suffering in the conflict has been exploited and heightened by the arrogant intransigence and bloody-minded single-mindedness of an international agenda that has nothing to do with the interests or human rights of the Syrian people. The fact is, across the country, and amongst the citizens of Aleppo - including those who have finally been able to flee the terrorist-controlled areas and are emerging with heart-rending accounts of the violence and brutality meted out on them these past years by the terrorists occupying their neighbourhoods - everyone wants to see the terrorists defeated and an end to the fighting. Independent journalist, Vanessa Beeley interviewed one woman yesterday who had fled East Aleppo a few days ago and whose 8 year old daughter was killed and husband shot by the 'rebels', and who saw a woman shot in the mouth asking them for food who said: "I hope the Army will show them no mercy. They are animals and deserve to die." The international community are calling for a ceasefire. Why on earth, when the Syrian Army are making such progress which the people of Aleppo are celebrating, and when every ceasefire so far has been used to resupply the terrorists, would the Syrian Government stop now? The last ceasefire which the Government held for two weeks last month was broken relentlessly by 'rebel' attacks on Western Aleppo that killed and maimed dozens of innocent civilians. Make no mistake, this is not a Government attacking its own people. I have laid out before me a whole city, in the majority of which, and as in all other Government-held areas of the country, citizens from whatever faith or ethnic community, are getting on with their lives and living together. I am standing a few kilometres away from the battle zone but am safe. The bombing is taking place, not across the city, but only in those small pockets of the city where the 'rebels' have held out. Most of the civilians that have been able to flee those areas are being looked after in Centres run by the Syrian Government and Syrian Red Crescent and with aid which the Russians are providing. They all tell of the 'rebels' shooting at those trying to leave. (Few know anything about the 'White Helmets' and those that do, have little good to say about them because they are working with the terrorists.) So I stand here watching a battle with deeply mixed and conflicted feelings...sadness at the loss of life taking place before me; but a feeling like so many others in this city that the Syrian Government has been left with no other choice. It is only when fighting ceases that a political solution can be found, but it is clear that as long as the Western -backed al-Q'da linked terrorists are able to operate, there can and will be no peace in the city or the country. Believe me, most Syrians are cheering their army on. The refusal of western governments and media to listen to the Syrian people, and to follow only their own agendas, has ensured that this brutal conflict and suffering on all sides has gone on for far too long. So as I watch a relentless battle taking place before my eyes, I feel that sadly, there is no other option. And when the battle ends, in Aleppo and in other parts of the country, the long and no doubt difficult and painful task of rebuilding people's lives, and healing the pain, will begin.”

Such a shame that no one is actually interested , i.e. unless it affects them.

No compassion, no empathy, no nothing. Clearly no one has heard of the people from the bakery being thrown in the ovens alive ! That only happens in story books doesn't it or horrific concentration camps ? Never in Syria, where that sort of thing is classed a propoganda, because the Syrian people count as nothing anyway !!! The Syrian people are intelligent, clever, smart and a damn site cleaner than our inbred mucky little habits .
