The woman who is bombing innocent people and also causing more and more unnecessary poverty at home just can't resist preaching the old "Christian values" speech.

When will voters open their eyes to the Tory party, the party that on every time they have held power have plunged the country into more debt than any other.

They openly lie about everything and the gullible just can't see it, please look at the facts and not the rhetoric.

The wretched woman gave a speech the other day claiming she'd had a good year!

Failing to engage with the public, running a piss-poor campaign that turned a 20 point advantage into a near defeat, issuing a manifesto full of threats and bad news, attempting to introduce a 'dementia' tax, making a total Horlicks of the brexit negotiations and giving in on every EU point, making herself the laughing stock of the world with the aid of foreign secretary who is an obvious clown, and losing three cabinet ministers and having to replace them with even greater fools and knaves.

If that is a good year, a bad one would be unimaginable. She is clearly delusional, but I guess you have to be, to vote tory so perhaps that's what her slack-jawed supporters want. I think she is a rather dim woman, promoted well beyond her capabilities, but she was that as Home Sec. It is a measure of how deficient in political talent the party is that she is the best of them.

Makes you wonder how they got into power...the other lot must be far worse

Either that or, much more likely, the fact that the Mail, the Express, the Sun, the Telegraph and many other rags slavishly support them, the fact that they are given far more money (from a tiny group of very rich men) that the Labour party for canvassing, and peddle a faintly racist, xenophobic, nationalistic line which appeals to the nasty selfish and brutal elements in our society.

But their time is coming to an end I think. The young are ignoring the tabloids, which are dying, and social media provides a far more egalitarian medium over which arguments can be thrashed out. Moreover, people travel far more to other countries and no longer fall for the 'wicked foreigners out to get us' line the tories peddle.

Their membership is falling - its now under 100,000 although they've stopped issuing statistics since 2013. Their members are too old to do any real campaigning anyway. When was the last time you got an election leaflet from them that wasn't delivered by post? They are the party of the old and ill-educated, and they are dying out. Good thing too. They really are the nasty party!

If they are the party of the old,. ill-educated and dying out then i am afraid to tell you there will always be old ill-educated and dying people. Perhaps the other parties have a "Final Solution" for that.
As for "nasty party" i seem to remember many Labour trying to stab Corbyn in the back.

Yes, there is a shortage of seats for prospective right wing MP's so many of them called themselves blairites and infiltrated the left.

There are a lot fewer ill-educated people around now than there were in the past. There will always be old people, but not necessarily ill-educated and stupid enough to vote for a party that will exploit them the way the tories have.

Interestingly, their handling of brexit has NOT pleased all their paymasters. They are well aware that leaving the UK will cost them money, and with the likes of the pathetic Davis, Johnson and Gove waiting in the background they will be less than ready to continue grubstaking the party as in days of yore. I can't see much of a future for them.

Incidentally, the tories are not the nasty party because they stab each other in the back in the back. they are the nasty party because they exploit the poor to give tax breaks to the rich, and believe in things like the Dementia tax, the Poll tax, and cutting benefits. They are arrogant and repressive by nature and believe they have a 'right' to run the country because they are rich.

If they ALL stabbed each other in the back, they would not be the nasty party. they'd be the non-existent party, and I for one would be delighted with them!

I wish the Tory Party and Voters Noro-virus to be honest.

Ditto Kippers and Biffers.

Very astute, I got the tense a tad wrong, though its hard to believe we aren't dropping bombs at the moment somewhere.

So is every other country. For some silly reason, countries that go into battle need arms. I never could figure out why that might be !!

Lets have a look for the so called 'tinpot regimes' who are involved in Iraq and Syria in attempt to rid them of ISIS. There's a long list here. From those, which would you describe as 'tinpot' ?
