Nervous that trump has his finger on the buttons. Cruise missile attack launched on the alledged airfield that flew planes that deployed chemical weapons.
Will Putin turn a diplomatic blind eye?
Not seen or heard much evidence of who deployed the chemical weapons.
Trump playing the whiter than white usa and allies v nasty rest of world card .
Seems its not ok to kill "children of god" but its ok for the usa to kill "children of god when they get older"

Just seen this Fish on the news. It seems that every new Political leader of US (and a couple in UK) have to make their strength felt by such attacks ?

Gone are Trumps ideas of being mates with Putin.

59 tomahawk cruise missiles fired at the Syrian airbase !! That's a lot , I would have thought. More 'shock and awe ' ?

Something had to be done, but is this the answer ?
Yes Granny I agree something had to be done before more innocent children suffer the horrors of chemical weapons. Maybe we need someone like Donald Trump to take immediate action to try to stop these people that have no concern for who they kill. It is obvious that trying to talk to these people does not work. People that spread terror have no wish to listen.Fish these are just children, not children of God, for if there was such a god then why are there so many innocent children suffering around there world ? That is a question I have asked many people many times and not once have I had an answer that makes any sense.
Its hard to identify the guilty party, the Russians deny anything and everything, Assad the same, they just give two fingers to everyone, how do you deal with that? they have tried talking to no avail, the UN sit on the fence, no one wants to get involved, it appears its always the USA and ourselves that are looked to for any positive action.

It rankles to say it but Trump got it right over NATO, most members are reluctant to contribute their fair share, both in cost and manpower, and are happy to sit back and let others do it.

A hard and long question to answer, Dilly. For those who don't have a belief in God, it has to be asked what their perception of God is, because if there is no belief there cannot be any perception.
If there is a perception of God, right or wrong, then one must believe there is a God. So we start there and work forward. smile
The rest of the world has talked, talked and talked about something having to be done. so about time some one has at last done something.

Why hasn't or doesn't Assad come into public view and say something. He seldom does, even though it's twice been denied that the Syrian army are responsible for chemical attacks, but why doesn't HE say something in Syria's defence. That man is a mystery .

Maybe he has been briefed to let Putin do the talking smile
Hi Dilly..."Children of God" I was quoting what Trump had said in his speech ...ironically he doesn't have an understanding from a Biblical point of view as to what defines a "child of God".

Assad spokesman has asked for evidence that they used chemical weapons. Like a previous chemical attack there was no evidence it was the Syrian Govt.
Reading article that says the chemicals used can be tested and traced but all this takes time. Trump is quick to act...and we either trust him or distrust him and the intelligence.
Given the atrocities attributed to ISIS why could they not have been responsible.
Doesn't make sense to me that Assad who is gaining ground over the rebels and IS should jepordise his progress knowing that chemical weapons would probably get the reaction that has happened.

Yes the use of chemical weapons is not nice (Churchill was willing to use it on the Germans!!)but Trumps act could be far more stupid.
If ISIS used the chemical weapons and it was blamed on Assad, they would get an outcome exactly what they want.

If ISIS used the chemical weapons and it was blamed on ISIS, they've not lost anything.

If Assad used the chemical weapons and it was blamed on Assad, he could lose everything.

If Assad used the chemical weapons and it was blamed on ISIS, he wins but on a huge gamble.

If another country used the chemical weapons, there are far too many possibilities to even start thinking about it.

My bets are that Assad didn't authorise their use, he had far too much to lose - how many days would he live without the support of the West nor Russia!

It was said to be an air attack .

Russia said it was an air attack which hit an ammunitions dump.

Was this air attack from missiles or planes ? I thought one person said he heard the planes, but can't be sure if he was linking to two together.

I'm quite sure the Russians or the Syrians would have been able to identify ,prove and give evidence if it was not a plane.

If it was, ISIS don't have planes .

ISIS use drones quite a lot, they have possession of some aircraft but these weren't kitted out for bombing nor missile launches, converting them is a huge project.

Taking into account David Ickes mention of 'Project for the New American Century' , ( I don't usually take much notice from what he says) there is clearly questions that have never been answered, and after listening to Assad's interview today, I honestly think there are dark forces operating as his explanation for this chemical attack, and the reasons for his denial, seems really quite rational.

The cat was also let out of the bag by Wesley Clark, who said :

In Clark's book, Winning Modern Wars, published in 2003, he describes his conversation with a military officer in the Pentagon shortly after 9/11 regarding a plan to attack seven Middle Eastern countries in five years: "As I went back through the Pentagon in November 2001, one of the senior military staff officers had time for a chat. Yes, we were still on track for going against Iraq, he said. But there was more. This was being discussed as part of a five-year campaign plan, he said, and there were a total of seven countries, beginning with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and finishing off Iran." [145]

Below is Wesley Clark's CV .

I really wouldn't be surprised if it has all been part of the design for change.
Lets hope David Icke will never say, "You all laughed at me then!"
"Your not laughing now!"
