SIR Rod Stewart !!

I despair.

Probably one of the few that deserve it.

Has done a phenomenal amount of charity work in a very broad range of spheres.

No doubting how successful his music career has been as well.

It's much better than the pm's bit on the side from his local cake shop getting it (the gong that is).

Maybe you should become a singer, who sounds like you have a sore throat. Then you can give some of your hard earned (cough!) cash to charity.

Thanks to the modern crop of politicians it is now a flawed system. About time to find another way of doing it. Lots of deserving people get nothing.

I think quite a lot of deserving people do get awards its just not newsworthy so we don't hear about it.

Nearly 1,150 people have been named in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.

Recipients recognised for work in their communities make up 70% of the list

Rod Stewart said about his honour "he would wear it well"...lol

Ant and Dec got OBEs , alan shearer CBE, Brian Blessed OBE smack
