I had the privilege of meeting this very knowledgable and kindly Professor. His expert knowledge inspired many people to take an interest in Archaeology, his kind and gentle manner will be very sadly missed by a lot of people.

I enjoyed his input on Time Team, only 66. I loved his colourful jumpers too.

Thats so sad. Ive got about 20 Time Teams recorded.

He was on my list of people I would love a one to one with, so sad this will never happen he seemed such a nice Guy.
