Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

Wow, I am really shocked at this, such a young age. Such a sad loss.

1st I`ve heard....woah. Can`t say I liked her or disliked her just bloomin hell! So young. Just to drop down like that! Makes you take stock, even money and beauty can`t buy you a ticket to eternal life.

I guess we`re all thinkin something/someone has got to be responsible because she was so young/rich/pretty. Unexpected death just doesn`t happen to peeps in public eye? But am thinkin something suss happened because of the fact that she was so young/pretty/rich etc? Maybe rude has touched on something and maybe coz she was so thin it was part of an eating disorder?

Never heard of her, so no great loss. I think ill be able to get on with my life without any further ado.

Thier saying it may have been diabetes, but question marks are being raised over her husband not wanting an inquest even though the cause is unclear.

There has been (perscription) drugs discovered at her apartment, and regardless of the husband, they will be carrying out a full post-mortem.

Toxicology will take 6 weeks. I think drugs as well - even if it is, we will never find out anyway - she's a celeb and they own the media.

I have to say I've never heard of her. Anyone dying young is sad. That said, anyone dying is sad - with a few exceptions.

RIP Brittany, whoever you were.
