Rose Brae Nursing Home, Bebington Shut Down - 12th May 2016 5:56pm
Rose Brae Nursing Home in Spital Road Bebington (near the Three Stags) has been shut down.
Despite being put on special measures after an inspection in September 2015, further inspections carried out this year found the home "inadequate" in all 5 categories.
Some examples of concerns are the lack of process to investigate physical abuse where patients had found to have bruising and the use of a hoist as a restraint. Patients were inadequately fed and hydrated and no checks for legionaries were carried out despite previous concern about this process last year.
