RAIL services between Hooton and Chester are have been disrupted after person was hit by a train.
Train services running across the whole Merseyrail network may be cancelled at short notice.
A rail replacement bus service in operation between Hooton and Chester.
Merseyrail say it hopes to resume normal services as soon as the situation has been fully assessed.
