seen this on bbc news before, the ilnk you posted doesn't say what they were but on the BBC news it said they were anti-tank mines

Yes your right jawide but I didn't want to put something on here that wasn't actually in the news report I posted.
Nowt to do with me.I live 5 mins from folley lane where they where taken. Also where they found them in birkenhead my parents live is a 5 mins walk.....
Found in a garage just on the corner by mine. Wasn't able to open up til about 2
Had a friend in southport who sent me the link for and say is they anything to do with me.. Did they have to close any roads why they removed them
Quarry bank street and car park was completely blocked off until about 2 then there was still army and police presence until about 7
OMG what the hell were they going to do with them!!!!!!!!
Not much they could do with them - they didn't have the detonators.
Why on earth wasnt something like that being escorted by armed guards for God's sake?
They were stolen from Defence Logistics' company train which is a Government agency. These trains and trucks travel the country without any security all the time.
Just boys being boys, nothing untoward, happens all the time lol laugh
