Discussion in the Local last night was about "How high" was the diving boards at the old New Ferry Baths, had big laughs from some of the lads who explained how guys would posingly get to the top of diving board only to suddenly have a sudden fear of heights. The guys said the the whole of the baths went quiet when some guys attempted to dive from the top. Can anyone help & does anyone have pictures.

Thanks for your help, had I performed a search on here I would have come across the links, my learning curve is over, well it was my 1st posting & you are right it should not have been posted on the "News" Forum. A little more thought on my behalf next time, but well done Wikiwirral a cracking site.

I did try to research this issue on New Ferry baths but it is not listed in wiki-Pedia records but can be requested for.

But the top diving board was for experts only and know what you are doing before any diving attempts.
