Heard on BBC News of a "landslip" at The Dell in Rock Ferry, between the Thorburn Road junction and the Rock Park Road junction.

I'm not a local to the area so I don't know how bad it looks, but I got a pic on the way to work:

Call me cynical but when they said "landslip" I was expecting roads leading into the river, houses missing, and the like!

bloody hell was crapping meself thinking the mother in laws house may have slipped into the mersey and i would have to rescue her .....looking at the picture i think not lol

mind you there is a little mud on the road on the left hand side will have to watch that just incase lol

my mum lives just around that corner and i started to worry at first ha so thanks for posting gibbo it'll put other peeps minds at rest
