Wirral police chase: man threatens to harm himself - 24th May 2012 10:25am
The 27-year-old man, described as being in an “agitated state”, drove off at high speed after officers were called to his house in leasowe at 11.15pm.
He was chased by three police cars to Birkenhead, where he was discovered hiding in a garden in Cecil Road, with his car abandoned nearby.
The man, from Leasowe, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
