Wonder how long they will take to do the bridge on Leasowe Road

It feels as if it has been going on since 1948. Oh well...it will be something else nearby soon.

Went under it this afternoon and it's pretty clear. Still some scaffolding under the Wallasey docks end though.

Must surely have been cheaper and quicker to demolish it and rebuild.

Was ubder there yesterday on a breakdown and the place was empty nearly, most of scaffolding gone and the contractors village gone. Was wierd

And yet the link from Penny Bridge roundabout to junction one is still closed at night until the end of the month acording to the notices. Obviously not as finished as BBC news is reporting.

anyone know whats actualy happening to the leasowe road bridge? looks like theyve installed jacks underneath but only on the one side?

The same road crew must move around LOL!

The bridge repairs were structurally integral; the project finished on time and massively under budget.

But lets have a moan anyway of course. Can't please everyone.
