HMS LIVERPOOL has sailed up the river for the final time today after 30 years service, she most recently helped in the Libya conflict. She is visiting the city for 6 days which will end in her sailing past her birth place, Cammell Lairds and then past The Royal Liver Building conducting gun salutes to each on her way out before she is decommissioned. The ship is open to visitors on Saturday and Sunday between 12-4pm

We did welcome them in, couldn't get any closer as I didn't have time.
