MERSEY ferry services to Wirral are suspended this evening, due to technical problems. A bus replacement shuttle service will run between Seacombe Ferry terminal and Hamilton Square train station for the entire duration and tickets will be accepted at on Merseyrail services between James Street and Hamilton Square. A Mersey Ferries spokesman said: "Normal services will resume from 0720hrs tomorrow. "We apologise to passengers for the inconvenience and will update as soon as the situation changes, however this is unlikely to be this evening."

The Royal Iris had Something wrong with the engine and SnowDrop came out of Langton Lock about 6 o clock Tonight.
