Hi,

Noticed the Royal train at Hooton sidings. Been there for about a day. Heavy police presence. Any ideas what it's here for?

Sorry about the crap pic, train was moving at the time!

The Queen was in Caernarfon today. Think it said on the news she was heading for mid Wales tomorrow. Strange it was shunted into Hooton. Surely Bangor or Anglesey would have made more sense ?

I've seen it there before a few years ago. Would have thought it might have parked near Llandudno junction. Blinds were shut so couldn't see in, Queenie was probably watching the cartoons.

Must be one of her favorite sidings as it's a bit out the way from wales...excellent views of waste land between Hooton and the m53 next to an old rubbish tip.
