A 45-year-old man died after a car crash on Leasowe Road in the early hours of this morning.

Police say that at about 1am, a silver BMW was travelling along Leasowe Road towards Leasowe when it left the road, near to the junction of Cross Lane, and collided with a wall.

The 45-year-old male driver of the BMW, suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene

I live right by the scene and saw the aftermath when I was coming home from work at 3am, it was horrific, car on its roof, around 12 police cars blocking the road either way.
