A bit further up a youn girl was killed by a drunken polish guy.

That fence has only just been repaired from a previous crash too.

So wirral council! When are you going to do something about that corner of seabank road?

I was at Arrowe Park this am..(for other reasons) and on chatting to colleagues it was being treated as a likely to prove fatal....not good.
You can see the merc van in the background...that is the duty accident investigator.....they do the csi bit of the crash for us...couldnt tell you which one though..and they only turn out for fatals and likely to prove fatals...

His car looks like it was transforming and then crashed.
There was a corner on Derby Street, my old boss lived down the road on Fountain Street and said the bloke woke up all the time with a car on it's roof in his front garden.

The 43-year-old was driving a red Peugeot 406 along Seabank Road, near the junction of Manor Road, in Wallasey, when it left the carriageway and crashed into a tree.

It happened at around 10.30am yesterday outside the Lonsdale Trust charity and an ambulance responding to an emergency was also on the road at the time.

The driver is in a stable condition in Arrowe Park hospital and Merseyside Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

A witness said there had been a loud smash at around 10.30am, yesterday.

The car, a red Peugeot 406, was still in place four hours later, with the carriageway blocked.

Police have carried out house to house inquiries seeking witnesses, and anyone who saw the collision is asked to call police on 0151 777 5771 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A MAN was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a crash which caused a five- hour road closure.

It happened on the A5080 in Cronton, near Widnes, at around 11.05am yesterday.

The driver of a white Transit van left Cronton Road and crashed into a tree in a nearby field.

He suffered a number of injuries but they are not believed to be life- threatening.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken by ambulance to Whiston Hospital.

Merseyside Police closed off the road for five hours while a full investigation was carried out.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Merseyside Police on 0151 709 6010 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
