Wirral man dies in M56 crash - 27th Jan 2009 2:08pm
A MAN from Wirral died after his car careered off the motorway.
The driver, who has not been named, died just after 10.15pm yesterday.
Police say the black Vauxhall Meriva he was driving left the eastbound carriageway of the M56 between junctions 14 and 15 near Helsby.
It ploughed through a fence and into a field before overturning.
Anyone who saw the accident should call police on 0845 458 000.
