Did you lose much in the freezer Jay? It's a pain in the arse when the electric goes off and ya have loads in the freezer, everything becomes full of ice defrosting and refrosting frown

most food was ok bud. we was worrying last night about it but all is well. the missus's did cook what was defrosting thumbsup

with decent freezers now adays they tend to retain the cold, aslong as you dont open it.

our electric was of for 24 hours once, all the food was still frozen

Posted By: MGCraig Re: POWER BLACKOUT - 7th Dec 2008 1:20am
Isnt that something like, one area using too much power or something, so they shut the area off briefly, to restore normal working condition and prevent a Power surge??
Posted By: MattLFC Re: POWER BLACKOUT - 7th Dec 2008 1:23am
Haha thats cheeky if it is the case. Probably Manweb just being stingebags.

Someone might have a dope factory in the road lol...
Posted By: Waddi Re: POWER BLACKOUT - 8th Dec 2008 10:08pm
everyone switching their xmas lights on in Upton, Leasowe and Wallasey village drained Moreton of their power.
