Cheeky fookin Grrrs, get back to work you lazy barstard, I think the lot of them should be given the fookin sack, unofficial strike action is supposed to be a sackable offence under the UK working laws, there are plenty of people who would love their jobs!

Afaik, this is actually illegal now as the Royal Mail have recieved a court injunction to prevent more official strikes, never mind unofficial strikes!

A deal has been reahced between the union and the Royal Mail, they should stop being arrogant pricks and get back to work!

I agree that they shouldn't be taking unoffical strike action.

But I'm all for the workers, if they feel strike action is needed to get the message through to the fat cats, so be it.

All this illegal shit to strike is a load of bollocks. If labour were a real labour government, they would have got rid of this law after the fookin tories brought it in.

RM are the cheeky postal ... here - making changes to the working hours and pension schemes without informing the TU. mad

Workers have far too many rights nowadays imho. Im all for fair working conditions and minimum pay etc, but the fact that our whole country can be ground to a halt by these public services is wrong imho.

Essential services like Royal Mail, Fire Brigrade, Power Suppliers, NHS, Police, fuel distributors etc should not legally be allowed to strike imho.

At the end of the day though Joe, its as ye say, they shouldnt be taking unofficial strikes no matter what. I cant be fooking assed with these gits, sack the lot of em imho!

It just goes to show how reliable both businesses and public services are on the workers.
Therefore, they should be treated with respect and consulted if their working conditions are subject to change smile

Its doesnt stop the public hatred of these gits. As I say the workers in Aintree should be sacked.

There are plenty of people who would jump at the chance of their jobs. Its not the workers are much good anyway, looking at the BBC whistleblower report on them, most are dodgy fooks anyway and dont do their jobs properly.

Ahem, they are greedy Grrrs, they already get paid well above the NMW, and their hours arnt the longest ever, yes they have the weather but allsorts of jobs have their downsides.

I would be getting my mail, because as I have stated, there are plenty of people who would gladly take their jobs tomorrow, if you have seen any of the BBC Panorama or whistleblower investigations, you will realise that a big majority of our mail isnt even delivered by Royal Mail employee's cos the lazy Grrrs always goin on the sick, more and more is being delivered by agency workers, who may I add are happy to work for 12 - 16 hours covering backlogs due to the laziness of the proper employee's and something the proper employee's would never even think of doing.

If they dont like the pay, tough, they should get another job. In this day and age of high inflation thanks to the Labour government, there are VERY FEW job's with which the wages rise at the same rate of inflation.

And to end things, THANKS TO THESE gits I HAVENT BEEN GETTING MY MAIL FOR THE LAST WEEK.

And no matter what, unofficial strikes are totally unacceptable, and they should all be sacked.

Ye am for the workers too. there must be a good reason why they have done this. i think is would be a different reason if u were in there poistion????
Posted By: MattLFC Re: CHEEKY POSTAL SCUM - 16th Oct 2007 8:56pm
yeah because thier greedy Grrrs, have had a sniff of striking to get what they wanted and now they want even more, WITHOUT the backing of thier union.

mad

I'm with kate,
as in they all cant be wrong at Liverpool.
Isn't there about 300 of them on strike.

Unions are crap even on a good day.

And maybe that could be another reason why they feel
they have to take matters into there own hands wink

I don't think there greedy from what i have read.

Sooner they are all sacked and the Royal Mail is shut down the better. They are getting beyond the joke.

Id rather have Virgin or UK Mail running things personally. Atm, we dont have a choice, and the postal workers are using that to their advantage, abusing it and causing problems for everyone.

They all signed up and agreed to what their Union wanted, if they didnt agree they could have sacked the Union, but they chose not to, the Union gained them their requirements, but they got greedy and want more now.

As I have already said, even an official strike is now illegal, so an unofficial strike means to me, they should be told to get back to work or loose their fecking jobs!

Royal Mail management wont do it atm though because they dont have the infastructure to replace em.

I dont belive all the facts have been brough to light as to why they are actually striking...

A friend of a firend is a postie, and without going in to to many details, he was quite reasoned when he was telling me that he thought they where justified in their actions.

One of the facts is that their working day was extended by an hour - ok, not that bigger deal, but they got no more pay, and it was a management decision, and noone else, inc the unions where consulted...

Whilst its annoying not to get mail, I can sympathise with the situation of the postal staff, and in this day and age realise you have got to fight for everything, but.... they are lucky to have jobs and should be thankful.

In summary, I think its unfair to judge their actions without a full list of published facts, and think the title of this thread is very judgemental and unfair... frown

i dont think they are greedy matty. the likes of nurses, fireman, and police are unpaid and i think should be on more.the likes of footballers take the mick, my 5 year nervew can kick a ball around a field, weres the skill in that. i just think this country has not put everything into place like they should.
they help the wrong ppl most of the time.
Unions are crap and take too long for anything to get put into place.

Postman work in all weather delieving ur post and working from 4 in the morning. i think if anyone did there job and got crap pay i think they would kick off aswell, cuz i no for sure i would.
