Was connecting up a new courtesy light (due to the old one being blue light) taken from an Omega. It's all run off the same wiring as the sunroof, there's four wires. I disconnected the leccy sunroof wiring (two plugs), and let the plug dangle. The plug is still live, it's on all the time, and the ends must have touched the bodywork and earthed. Now I can't find the fault, I assume the wiring has burnt out, but I can't find any wiring that's burnt out.
I've been told it runs off the fuse and power from the glovebox light, but the fuse isn't blown!!!
Any wiring experts out there?!?!

Are you 100% sure there is only the one fuse box?

Not the same problem, but i ripped a dash out assiming the bulbs had blown,
only to find that there were 2 fuse boxes??
1 under the bonnet, and one under the passenger well. (Different make of car).
Replaced the fuse and they worked smack

If the wires had fused, i'm sure other things on the loop would also behave strange?
Anything else gone pop, or not working now?

Hope this helps??

Unbelievably, I havn't actually *thoroughly* checked the fuses, there are 30 in my car, and more in the engine bay! The first thing to go is the fuse, but from looking, there doesn't appear to be any blown, and the things that share the same fuse as the sunroof are still working. confused I'm totally baffled.
