Mines are quite a reputable company and even feature in GT4. Search on google mate for their site and im sure all will be revealed. I take it u put it in the mitsi?

Basically they do the same to your ECU as anyother tuners ECU.

It will alter the fuel map and adjust the timing.

Depending how complicated your car and its ECU are they can do much more, but a basic ECU generally consists of a chip on the main board which controls all the vital information.

And probably charge a lot more!
Where are they based?

yes iv put it in the gto and now im having problems with the cat
it keeps over heating and im loosing power

It sounds like it has retarded the ignition timing too much causing the detenation to happen as the exhaust valves are opening causing the catalyst to overheat think

...which will make a lot of sence frown

Mines is a japanese tuning company, and if the ECU is designed to run on the Jap version of the GTO / 3000GT (Cant remember which way round they are) then they have in excess of 100 octane fuel over there and can afford to knock the timing back.

Are you getting any det?

no not at all its just when the car gets hot the exhaust warning light comes on and thers no power and it stuters on acceleration

Is it only doing this with the mines ECU in?
You may have to match parts to cover the alterations the ECU is making.
I think it might be covering you CAT with fuel as well which is a bad thing, they're expensive because the catalyst is the precious metals converting in there. You'll want to be taking it out though.

iv got rid of the cat now and it goes much better
still a bit twichy at hi revs i think i might be hitting fuel cut or my fuel pump cant handle it
iv got a upgraded one that im waiting to put in from a supra
