long time since i posted but well!!! on a saxo really depends on what you are after mate! you want looks then there is so many options for you i.e kits available to you, wheels if you go for 17's try and find some with 195 width tyres that means you wont have to have your arch liners taken out! for your interior try l4leather mate the work is incredible!!!
Inowadays prefer subtle mods on saxos i.e rally style 15's, 40 mm drop on bilstien/eibach set-up! nice big brakes pref hi-spec ones!!! again your options are endless!!! try the saxosport forum or the sax-p forum! again though i wouldn't use text talk as they will lynch you!!! hope that helps!!!

Eye, all the VTR's are 1.6 - 8V engines. Older ones had 90bhp, and the facelift cars had 100bhp smile

10BHP is quite alot to squeeze out of an engine, are they not the same engines?

no, diff blocks and if i aint wrong i am sure they have slightly different rev limits too

i know yeah aggy lol!!! they were 98bhp from november 2000 late x reg! in reality though they are only marginally quicker than the earlier vtr's due to them being made a bit more robust as so many young people me including were meeting foreign objects i.e trees with them!!! if you want a quick saxo quite simply buy yourself a vts!
