Let us know what your into.
I.C.E - Bass, Loudness, ???
or
Performance - Drag, Drift, ???
or
Style - Jap, Euro, Street Racer, ???

I'm into looks (street racer) and just getting into performance, will become more clear with my new ride.

All round performance smile

A good balance of acceleration throughout the range - not have a blistering 0-60 and crap top end. Mid range needs to be good, without to much lag so the car is drivable out of corners. Its gotta go round corners, but not be so stiff of the roads it breaks your back.

Brakes need to be a good compramise - ie, not so hard they take forever to warm up, but once they do warm up, they dont get so hot they fade.

Not really in to ICE - Adds weight, car brings its own music wink and Ive got a Stereo at home laugh

I'm into the lot.

ICE: Distinctive, punchy bass, and a crisp mid range at high volume. Treble needs to be there but not in your face.

Perfomance: Drag racing, country lanes, on and off road head-to-head rallying, and high speeds on empty motorways are my idea of fun driving. I need a good mix of just about everything.

Style: I like all styles, so long as they're tastefully done. Jap, Euro, Rally, etc... For my next car I wanna go Jap street racer style smile
i like them all!!!!!

All of them definetly but had too choose one it would have to be performance!

definetly looks i love euro style notin beta then seein a slammed car thats got no lines on the bodywork obviously id like abit of power but at 19 my wage packet an insurance company dont agree, quite into me ice but there again i like sutle installs notin drastic it has to match the cars look!

Straight line speed!!

I like Jap styling that stands out, a one-off bodykit thats had top dollar paid for it so that no-ones car looks like it

also love the Euro styles, all smooth, no lines

ICE, I like to hear loud bass with no loss of mid range. The Corsa at BBG6 is a prime example, or for anyone who knows Olly Civic, sit in his car....see how long ya last before running away from the bass tease

Im more into the styling of the car, performance is an aspect ( especially if the standard car is a slow one ). As long as a car is pretty decent at a set of lights its fine by me happy

As far as styling goes i prefer the 'street racing' look, not into the rally/decal thing much.

ICE is same as performance for me, if the standard one is acceptable and sounds decent then why change it ? .... Styling all the way for me. <img border="0" alt="[cool / shades]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions067.gif" />

Street racer - I like performance.
Posted By: Anonymous Re: What kind of modder are you? - 10th Jan 2005 2:44pm
preferably, my car would be smooth all over, nothing that doesn't suit the car like some dodgey bodykit, plenty of power and great handeling.

i wouldn't put a kit on the car i got now since it doesnt suit it, but i think the likes of andy and stubbzy's civics suit their kits and look really nice cool

Hot hatch looks And even hotter perfomance. If i had the money i would bin my kit and get the standard escort skirts and spats that come on the top models Si/Gti and then give it over 200bhp.Rar

into subtle looks. Speed aint a big thing cos i get 2 play wid sum quick cars wid my job.

i luv seein a motor that sum 1 has put hours into to make it luk different from the crowd.

im Defo into more euro than u street racer boys and wud rather b slower and lower than high and fast.

Old scorts and 80s Vdubs and 205s and 5s float my boat.

Performance : 0-60 in 3.9 secs happy happy happy

Rally style (If you hadnt of guessed) and street racing.

A bit of ICE to keep those long journeys lively but not too OTT.

Would love to get another RS2000 MK2 Escort for some serious fun though

fast, loud, good lookin, thats how i like my women. lightning speed, perfecionate looks, ear piercing, thats how i like my cars
Posted By: Basskiddanny Re: What kind of modder are you? - 1st Feb 2005 11:32pm
im not into OTT bodykits, i like subtle looks with a bit of performance thrown in to make the car more fun to drive. Not into ICE atall really, gimme a decent head unit with some decent speakers and thats fine, not into massive installs like the one i had in my MK4 Escort, that weighed the car down so damn much but was fully built by me!

Performance, combination of a well built engine and chassis, no point in having silly power when the brakes, bushes and suspension is crap.

Styling: less is more let the engine do the talking, and the ICE can stay at home weights too much!!

Keep it old skool
