hey need some help guys, got a four-set of neons for outside car but when i jack it up etc and get ready to drill holes i cant get the rght position, the surface is either very very far from flat or i just dont want to start drilling there in case i bust a fuel line or something.

i'm about 1 more try away from getting a grage to do it but it feels like i should be able to modify my own car?! am i looking in the wrong place or what? do the neons go near the centre or near the doors?

any help at all would be great

they should go by the doors, dont be affraid to start drilling, you should be able to see all the fuel pipes etc, so just keep away from them

To Be safe lift the carpet to check what your drilling into mate.

If you drill through the wiring loom you will know about it smack

The neons should go just by the sill mate. Possibly use a little spacer if the floor is un-even ?

How you gettin on? On the sides they go by the sill,if you dont have skirts then you cant hide the bars so they will look not so fantastic. Up to you

yeah lol thanks for askin, i decided that four on the outside would be a bit of overkill so i am putting the two longest along the sills (skirts are on the way but because have to order them as not many galant bodykits available, waiting times seem to stay at 4-6 weeks) but iv totally figured out the electrics now and have concealed aroun 95% of the wires and have the remote systme in my glovebox lol. Inside i have used the two shorter ones but they arent as fragile as usual neons becuae they were made for the outside of the car so obvioulsy it would need a good kicking before breaking just on the inside of the car..nearly done tho
