After a cracking offer off paz for his cream seats, and a few hours swapping them over. I managed to get hold of some matching leather today, the orginal plan was to make a one off gear knob gaiter, but then something inside me said, wait dont stop there, so 2 hours later and a few dizzy moments off the really intoxicating glue i ended up with this.
Wot do you all think

Heres the new half leather seats

First of all the glove box was cream leather

Then i decided it didnt look right, so i went for dark green leather, with cream bits

Then came the gear stick gaitor, lovely, if i do say so myself

And with a bit of the left over green leather i thought i would try the handbrake gaitor, needs a bit of refining, got a chrome cover for it somewhere

I might have a side line for you if you are interested?
Do you reckon you can manage to cover a bucket seat in leather or is this too much?
Good work! It gives a lot of satisfaction when you do stuff yourself.

Dont you think they may look a little too much?
Posted By: aceritz Re: Leather - 10th Feb 2005 7:12pm
vynal is too hard to work with, and the extra effort you go to to put the vynal on you might as well of bought leather
cos it easier to work with

I am going to have a stab at the speedo cowling at the weeked, but vtr bumpers are the priority over the week end so if i got time

Superdavelotus :- bit too advanced for me, only just learnt how to walk
