As a replacement for the 200, recon Ill be looking for a 180SX and sticking to what I know.

Would really love another GTR Skyline, but the running costs of the last one have really put me off

So Ive been chatting to an Importer down south and heres a couple of cars he has found for me so far....







Both are modestly tuned (Circa 350bhp) with wheels, suspension and bodywork mods...

Also been thinking about this, though its not a GTR

Its an R32 GTS, though its had the 2.5 Turbo lump fitted from the R33 and is no longer a 2.0 and it weighs less than the R33.

Has mild engine and body mods, and considering, is quite cheap as well...

And this one.

It has a huge spec though, and maybe a little out of my price range

Get the yellow one and throw the spoiler on from the green thing, Sorted matey.....

What costs is he looking at ??

A Std one can come over for £2500ish to Over £10k for a really really nice one with plenty of bits and bobs fitted

The Yellow one I think he said would be round the £8k mark in the UK, registered, taxed, MOT'd etc

I say Yellow too.
I know its only a colour but it seems the best head turner

sorry dont like the yellow one, get the green one or the skyline. you know you want the skyline, it has to be the skyline, or the blue one is nice aswell.

Out of all of them the green one is my fave.

On the Yellow and Green ones the bumpers and skirts where an option on the RPS13 180SX Type X and available from the factory

All 180's are only available on import so the car would still be JDM

Hmmm, Another one, though this is more suited to drags and "Wangan Racing" by the mods on it

Yellow one Stu, you know it makes sense.

Get an uber clean standard one stuy and mod it yourself. The black one looks goregeous(as its black)and its back lights(kouki conversion if im right???) make it look ace,so if u get a black one and do them lights then make the rest of it your own,that'd be sweet,yellow ones nice too

yellow one - i think its just too show and maybe not enough go for you.

blue/purple - looks ok but still, same as above really

skyline - is nice and looks really smooth BUT will you be happy with someone else doing the work and always playing on you mind wether or not its done right??

Green one - is god damn awful, diff coloured wheels for one and a huge massive spoiler scream to me its not been looked after

Its a Sileighty rather than a 180SX, but it has been modified with wheels, suspension, body work, clutch, suspension arms, exhaust, rollcage, bucket seat....

The Yellow and Green ones where both very nice, but then when I got more details they are tuners "Show Cars" and would be over £10k to get to the UK

that white one is diff. get that aint seen one of them before.

Yeah, you can get 240SX's, though they where all exported to the US and had a 2.4 N/A engine and where quite gutless

Just spoken to the importer, and after getting a little more info, he is calling his contacts in Japan to go have a good look over the car, make sure its up to scratch, and start bidding on it

This is the car:

get in their stuy lad, like that one its different. whats the specs on it (standard i mean)

Std they are 205PS which is about 215bhp, 2.0 Turbo (Very similar engine to the blue one, but a bigger inlet manifold and no VVT for emission control - so a bit more tunable)

Top speed 147mph, 0-60 - 6.4

As mentioned it has the SR20DET (With differences to the one in the blue 200) but they only had a T25G on them rather than the T28. (Like the std tubby will stay on it )

what model is as i've never seen one before. then again what make is it. i know you said it has an sr20det. but does any other car manifactures use nissan engines?

Its a Nissan Sil80

Its a 180SX (Hatch on the Rear) but Has a Silvia nose on it

Though Im not yet sure if its a genuine Sil80, or a 180SX with the conversion. Need to see more pics of the etching on the rear 1/4 glass to make sure.

These are quite rare in Japan, never mind the UK

Turns out the white one was a bit of an ex drifter and a bit of a dog

Soooo, Ive asked one of the Japanise "runners" to go have a look at this one for me. They will send loadsa pics, test drive it, and give a good report on the car. Its a 95 car, 36k miles, HKS exhaust, filter, Tein Suspension, 17's, full cage, Z32 MAF, fuel pump and lower aerokit:

schweet matey thats nice like to roll cage. sweet looking ride, hope you get it. how long would it take from date of purchase to the date of delivery to your doorstep.

Well, you gotta send the money to Japan, and they put it on the ship - can take about 2 weeks.

Then the ship takes about 6 weeks to get here, then the car needs registering, and if anything needs doing to it it gets done then.

Id guess about 2 months from buying...

what you gonna do in the mean time then. coz you aint got the rover anymore have ya.
