My Low-Rider

my 1958 ford 100e

currently running a 1300 kent-crossflow engine, with a single sidedraught 40 weber carb and full 'one off' stainless exhaust, with 4-2-1 exhaust manifold.
fitting a roll cage next weekend.

1958 Ford 100e Anglia
Will eventually run 1789 crossflow by renound engine builder Morspeed should put out 135hp with 50hp of N.O.S. by Holley.
Straight 5 speed box by Quaife, wilwood bias pedal box with wilwood calipers and vented discs.
Needs small amount of welding to roof section then wiring and MOT

Those cars need V8s!!!!

I do like the beetle, love older rides like these, they have so much character compared to new cars.

I am determined to have a beetle as a project car when i buy a house with a drive and garage

Ye drove past me today about 6ish by Arrowe Park in the Anglia. Very distinctive I must say, loud as fook too, sounded well sweet!

yeah its a bit too loud for my liking at the moment, i need ear defenders on long journeys.

going to a wirral old skool ford cruise tmoz (sunday) 2pm at derby pool if anyones interested in looking at some old skool rides, escorts capris fizzers cosworth etc etc etc

Sounds good, its a pity I didnt see this post yesterday or I would have gone. Still, I might pop down if I have the time.
