Post your opinions on the new astra, loves and hates or what you would change,

Scotty - I would hardly call it ugly! But everyone has their own opinions. I could understand if it looked like a Robin Reliant NO OFFENSE if anyone reading this has one! :rolleyes:

The new Vauxhall Astra has a nice shape I think. It looks like an extended Civic/Golf. Would look better as three door instead of 5 door. Throw (not literally) a body kit on there, nice spoiler and 18's and you got yourself a nice motor.


You know these wheels would look Proper Bo! on that car!

i think its smart meself, i cant wait until they bring out the 3-door or a GSi because i think it will look well nice!

i dont think its too bad; havent made my mind up on the styling.....but it seemes like a good replacement for the old one.
compared to a focus or a golf though.......well, id go for the focus myself

I think it'd be interesting to see the coupe, the convertible, and the GSi. I don't think it flows very well at the front but the arse end looks gorgeous. I'm thinking front/rear splitters, and skirts, then you've got a very smart car <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions049.gif" />

I'm not to keen on the shape, but i might think different when I have see it up close. Then I will post my view...

i really like the new astra, its something different to the old ones! its modern and looks kool!

looks too sharp needs to be more rounded and smooth.
back end looks to much like a megan from the pics
but you never know it might look better in the flesh
so i will reserve judgement till i see one up close

looks similar to a peugeot 307. looks nice, but ive seen em on the roads and they dont look no where near as good.

i dont like the shape and im not to keep on the back it would probably look much better in a 3 door

dont like it, the astra's lost its identity, plus the tv ad is pretty lame, not that it influences my opinion in any way at all! lol
