I don't know how modded your car was...but TRY claiming that they added no value or performance to the car, and say you're willing to pay what you "owe" them for having them fitted for like 2 weeks when you "forgot" to tell them

My mate tried this on,- and it worked! So keep the faith, and don't let them get you off the phone, tell them you want to speak directly to the underwriters etc etc...
