Bought a Saab Diesel this week, on an 08 plate little bit sluggish on pulling away, its got the 150bhp motor. Anyone any experience of having ECU remaps done locally?

Check your turbo pipe hasn't got a split in it .my jag was the same found a split in the rubber turbo pipe ,changed it and now have a diesel rocket lol
if it still have the swirl flaps these can cause sluggishness - if you have a split boost pipe you'll hear a whooshing noise during acceleration as the boost pressure escapes,
first port of call is get it on a diagnostic machine and check for any fault codes etc, these 150bhp motors are usually very quick.
Took it to Ken at
http://edgeperformance.org.uk on Saturday, feels a bit more lively, I got 403 NM torque and 191 bhp from a remap.
Its coming to you Chris for a service this week, and you can check them swirl flaps.
