Hi,

I am thinking about getting something newer obviously, maybe a focus because they really are a pleasure to drive. The thing is though i don't really know how much my car is worth and how much extra i would therefore have to find. I have listed below the specs in the hope that people can give me some sort of idea of what i could expect to get for it....

1998 Ford Escort Si
1.8 Zetec-E (115bhp standard)
Collins Performance Power Chip
FSE Power-Boost Valve
Cat-Back Exhaust system
K&N 57i Induction Kit
Lowered 60mm on Gmax Springs and Shockies
M3 SideSkirts
Rear Lexus lights (newer style)
16" Mondeo Alloys (Similar to Escort Cossie style)
Blue Underbody LED Lighting
Immaculate Interior
Had a brand new windscreen 3 days ago
Brand new clutch a week ago
Runs Smooth and Sweet
No Dents in the bodywork
9 Months MOT

All interior plastics are clean and tidy also seats have no stains, burns, tears or holes in them, carpet is clean.

The car has done just over 59,000 miles and has been well maintained. I am the third owner of the car so the person who bought it would be the fourth. It is fully HPI clear and i have the report to prove this.....

Please post your ideas on how much i could sell this for so i have some sort of idea. Thanks a lot.....

Kind regards,
Daniel

I would strip it to standard, sell the bits seperate.

The car would be easier to sell and would be worth more to the sale market, I am not sure how much as the value of escorts isn't that high to my knowledge, but every little counts?

£2500-£3000

yep every little counts, and the focus seems to have dropped in price for the earlier ones since the new one has come about!

Grrr at Basskiddanny - Funnyily enough my bad boy is going up for sale soon. Dan you'll recover some losses if you sell it standard dude

id consider keeping it if i could get it to go over speed bumps and if i could get a decent front bumper for a good price

Dont mean to put a downer on it matey, but modified cars, unless you find someone who is specially looking for that type of modified car, then they are usually worth the same as a std version.

Going by the parkers pricing on a "good" 60k miler - £1900

Strip it back to std and get that money for it, and then sell all you parts to make the rest back smile
