Get the engine running smooth and any problems ironed out before you start throwing big money at it.

That is my opinion anyway, no use throwing modding money at a car that needs engine work doing :s

lose the 1.3 m8. Worst engine in world.(apart from the 1400 Pt-E(mine)) go for a 1.6-2.0 ish conversion includin bigga brakes and then worry about the body.As for the kit i like WRC/Cossie combo

Good luck with the car Sted

But, as everyones said before me, make sure ya get the engine running smoothly before throwing money at body kits & ICE

I'm suffering from that now (not the bodykit, the ICE)

The 1.3 and 1.4 engines in escorts are harsh, need to be pushed to their ABSOLUTE LIMIT to get them to keep up with a convoy. And basically u will agree soon. Its slow

i am used to that and am not really out for power in this engine more into makin it look smart then worry about power

is it low mileage?? if so a nice light tune from the 4x4 sponsor(who tune engines) would make it more perky
