I bought this last month for the missus. only 55,000 miles... Seat Ibiza 1.4 Cool/s brum brum joyride
She's named him Ross because he's the same colour as a Toro Rosso! yes

Chris replaced waterpump and cambelt and I've fixed the dodgy door lock happy
Some laquer peel on the bonnet which needs sorting and there's a hole in the o/s rear light (if anyone spots one at a breakers let me know!)... but otherwise seems pretty solid!

I was thinking of using some 2000 grit wet and dry and soaking it then rubbing down until smooth and then some rubbing compound... worth a try before respraying...

I think you'll need paint which can flex for fibreglass. Don't know if you can put a flex additive into normal paint
Maybe start a new thread? peeps might not notice your post in this thread smile

I've used some of the repair tape to patch the hole in Ross' rear light... I may as well have used sellotape because that's all it seems to be!!
MOT at weekend so hopefully it will be ok! smile and then I'll have a go at the bonnet!
Meanwhile the truck sits on the road feeling neglected waiting for the next big tip run, house move or camping trip!...
