Not common to keep the standard air box! Nice one!
I have the c20LET, think it's done around 150,000 miles by now, has been in about 5 different cars and after changing oil every 6000 miles it's still fine.

read a load of negatives about air box mods and even the k and n can upset the afm and bhp figures tend to be exagerated by the makers (wonder why? hmmn?) some say the only noticable difference is the intake noise .

mine has claimed to of done about 90k but still pulls like a train and tops the clock the only thing is it ticks a bit for a couple of mins from cold .

Most if not all Xe's tick for a few seconds, no bad sign as long as it stops after a min.

Like your Cav mate, seen it near the Canavon (sp) castle the other week.

nice cav mate, havent seen around. love the colour, whats it called?
Posted By: oxtonmac Re: Oxtonmacs - Cav CDX - 19th Aug 2008 5:38pm
thx phil

Its call magic grey, only ever came on the cdx .

Bugger to match though when painting the body kit I tried 2 seperate places to get a mix and both were slightly off.

Even gave the number off the chassis plate

Hold a K&N filter up to the light and you can see through it. frown I just buy GM filters, they do what they're supposed to! I have two Astras and they both have the stock airfilter.
I'm sure I've seen the car on Woodchurch road. Love Cavaliers, best Vauxhall ever made.
