.. Here we go.. here before your eyes is my 1987 Mazda 323. She's rather rare (one of only 3 red 323 BF's left in the UK) it's a 1.6 and 147bhp atm. kerb weight is about 950kgs but i've stripped all the rear out completely and i'm currently in the middle of removing all the sound deadening smile once it's all stripped i'm hopingfor around the 920kg mark.

she's in DIRE need of a respray and so she will be goin in in the next month or so for a full resprayin standard Mazda red.

The car has a 1.6 B6T I4 turbo engine in it and four wheel drive running gear so it's got some poke tease

currently trying to get hold of some coilovers atm but no companyseems to make them and for custom jobies, they're £951.75 from GAZ Shocks frown

plans for her are get my coils eventually, wheels refurb to white, full red respray, Bride Euro II seats, White roll cage, flocked dash, fuel cell in the boot.. atm i don't have much of it done.. but i'm in the middle of getting bits and pieces done... firstup is a heavy service on the engine. the engine itself has only done 69000 miles but has been sat for some time (prior to my ownership)

right enough gibberish by me... here's some pics

when i first got her...

those bits are all off being powdercoated white and with a few red details on it smile

also changed my rear lights (i dont have a decent bit of the rear but my new lights have clear indicators the old ones were tangoed frown )

and here's what i hope it will look like upon completion.....

My bad raftl

Do the wheels need a refurb or just a respray mate ?
Posted By: Haywood_323Turb Re: Haywood : Mazda 323 - 8th Jun 2008 2:31pm
they need refurbin dude.... they're all scuffed.. i want them powder coating too as if i just paint them, over time with taking wheels off and stone chips, the paint will flake off.
