oh btw u know u said when u took the strips off it was different colour underneath, did u try some t-cut on it? cos that shud have blended the overall colour to match, i had to do it on mine when i debadged the rear looked exactly the same after a good coat of t cut and a nice polish.

P.s where u get ya windows tinted and how much?

lookin swish mate
Posted By: jimbo4x4 Re: Cor7a - corsa sxi - 5th Apr 2006 11:08pm
Everything goes so well on that car mate, only things I would do now are lower, 35mm would be enough, new mirrors, just not dtms or m3's! And I'd change the ariel too, it spoils the lines of the car imo. Maybe different headlights too but it looks so well already. Hats off man.
Posted By: Paul R Re: Cor7a - corsa sxi - 6th Apr 2006 11:39am
Looking good, as jimbo said, it looks sweet.
Posted By: scoop Re: Cor7a - corsa sxi - 6th Apr 2006 5:43pm
lookin ace,i'd say it looks finished as is,u cud do finishing touches if u want but it wont improve the car much more TBH (aerial, mirrors, filler cap) Mirrors i think are prob best left as is as most aftermarket ones look cheap and tacky
Posted By: Matty GTI Re: Cor7a - corsa sxi - 8th Apr 2006 1:10pm
cheers guys, theres not much more left to do now, new mirrors and lowering are top of my list, i would also like a stienmetz grill and smooth boot, i also need to buy 2 amps for my install which needs painting

then possibly in the summer a duplex exhaust
Posted By: Matty GTI Re: Cor7a - corsa sxi - 15th Apr 2006 6:48pm
boot install is nearly finished, i think a little trip to automotion for some paint will finsh it off

ill get some pics up soon

heres a pic of my install, havnt got the 6x9`s wired up yet, but the bass is sounding good, hoping to get it sprayed in silver soon so it matches the bodywork

I agree Webby, it is a really sweet car, especially on those new photo's, but I suppose it goes to show the quality of the competition as well.

The seats look mint, did it take ya long to find em matey?

PS. Seen ya drive past the other day in Bidston Village, the small air intake at the bottom actually defines your car quite well!

thanks for the comments peeps

for a leather option for a corsa, its somthing stupid, i herd that it was bowt £1500, and it didnt take to long to find them, it was just an impulse buy, i thought if i dont get these now i wont get the chance again, and im so glad i did

think i might have a go at painting it myself first, after all when i was making it, i didnt have a clue how to use fibre glass or body filler, but i taught myself, and it payed off

How much were the seats chief? Didn't they come in the CDX?
They look similar to the Vectra GSi ones.
